Sħãlïq™ Posted August 18, 2012 Report Share Posted August 18, 2012 Thanks to the industrious sleuthing of The Knicks Wall and Robert Silverman of Knickerblogger, we can all get a glimpse of the upcoming alternate uniforms for the Clippers’ upcoming season. The new, alternate “Winter League” uniforms will be rolled out for weekend home games in the second half of the season. For the Clippers, the colorway brings back the blue jerseys that were Los Angeles’ alternate uniforms before they were redesign for the 2010-11 season. Teams are not allowed to introduce alternate uniforms for two years after a redesign (throwbacks are obviously a different story as the Clippers wore the ABA Stars jerseys quite frequently last season). And one last neat bit of eyecandy — a resourceful fellow (samevans7 via the ProSportsDaily forum) Photoshopped alternate blue uniforms some time ago and, based on the leaked info above, it proved to be quite prescient.
