ChosenOne
That was a clear charge, good call by the refs. Would have been a nice play though by Teague.

YugoRocketsFan
If Rockets were hitting their 3s tonight we would be up by at least
The Regime
Asik has a motor. Dude is playing hard on defense and hitting the glass hard. Earlier today Bill Simmons said that Asik could win the rebounding title, that prediction isn't looking too farfetched now.
Lkr
Wtf I tried to turn this on on the LP trial and it said I'm blacked out because its on a local channel :x

I can see it happening.

AboveLegit
Since '85, only six players have done what Harden did tonight. Never done by Kobe, Jordan, LeBron, Melo, etc, etc. Kid is scary efficient. http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pgl_finder.cgi?request=1&player_id=&match=game&year_min=&year_max=&age_min=0&age_max=99&team_id=&opp_id=&is_playoffs=N&round_is_ec1=Y&round_is_ecs=Y&round_is_ecf=Y&round_is_wc1=Y&round_is_wcs=Y&round_is_wcf=Y&round_is_fin=Y&game_num_type=&game_num_min=&game_num_max=&game_month=&game_location=&game_result=&is_starter=&is_active=&is_hof=&pos_is_g=Y&pos_is_gf=Y&pos_is_f=Y&pos_is_fg=Y&pos_is_fc=Y&pos_is_c=Y&pos_is_cf=Y&c1stat=pts&c1comp=gt&c1val=45&c2stat=fga&c2comp=lt&c2val=19&c3stat=&c3comp=gt&c3val=&c4stat=&c4comp=gt&c4val=&order_by=pts
The Regime
Harden is making me eat crow. I'm going to stick by what I said though, and hope that the first couple games were a fluke.
Make It Naaaashty
Harden is raw just like his teeth.
ChosenOne
Yes Harden is killing right now, but I'm loving this team has a whole. We ain't even close to being the most talented, but our hustle and go after the ball mentality has won us our first two games. It is only two games though. Make It Naaaashty
Harden is going ham but he's done it against two terrible teams. Wanna see what he can do against a legit team.
Cobb
Pretty fun game to attend despite witnessing Harden drop 45. Don't ever recall attending a game where a player has done that to or for us before. Some thoughts:-Major rebounding issues last night. Asik was killing us on the boards offensively.-Not really digging Josh Smith and his attitude. Seemed to really get caught up in small things.-Where was Anthony Morrow? I didn't look at the injury report or anything before I went, but assumed Morrow would make an appearance at some point.-Seriously felt like every time that Harden got he ball we fouled him.-Typical Atlanta crowd. Owner Real Deal Posted November 3, 2012 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 3, 2012 Not really digging Josh Smith and his attitude. Seemed to really get caught up in small things. He's had that problem for a while, but he just doesn't want to be there anymore, probably now more than ever since the Hawks didn't land his friend Dwight. I wouldn't be shocked if he was dealt by February.
Nitro
I'm surprised Harden is starting out this hot since he had no training camp or preseason with Houston, but I knew he had the talent to put up big number. Not quite like he has the first 2 games, but he is of the Manu Ginobili mold...can adapt to a contender while not being the star, but has the skills to take over games when he is relied on to do so. Last season he was historically efficient in large part to how much he draws fouls, and that is continuing so far in Houston. He is very, very well-rounded offensively, and while I have doubts he can be a superstar that can win playoff games with defenses keyed in on him, I definitely think at the very least he is on prime Joe Johnson-level.
