Owner Real Deal Posted January 26, 2013 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 26, 2013 KoMe shot more FGA/G than anyone (including Shaq) in four of his five championships...and in those four, he averaged 20+ shots a night. Being that he was shooting a career high 48% FG this season (until his last three bad games), and the fact that Howard is reluctant to score 20 a night AND Nash doesn't want to shoot much at all (passing up open shots), I'm 100% sure the reason why Kobe jacks shots in games we lose is because he's seeking the big comeback, and that's the only person on this team that will do it. When we're down 15 or so, he has the green light to do whatever he wants. In games we win easily, he doesn't have to shoot as much because others step up. Plus, he usually plays less minutes in those games. It's logical. He won four of his five rings shooting 20+ a night. He's not 40 years old, and if he's shooting 46-48% from the floor (career highs), he can continue to do it while everyone else adjusts to the offense and figures out how to get serious, stop all of the laughing and toying around, and focus on winning.
