New York at Cleveland

At least we cut the 22 point lead to 12 by half, these guys definitely didn't show up to play after yesterday against Miami.. Melo hurt his knee and won't return, and we played miles better after he left..

I think I can count on one hand the number of shots the Cavs missed in the first quarter, and Speights is nailing 18 foot jumpers.. unreal lol

who knew Luke Walton still played

i honestly didn't til he came in and was dropping dimes and started looking like larry [expletive]ing bird out there.

Idk what happened with Melo. Idk what happened to the team in the first quarter and a half. It was clown city out there. It was like they didn't feel like playing.

Then they realized, "oh shit, we are about to lose to Cleveland in a fairly important game in March. Maybe we should start trying." And then they outscored them like 72-45.

It's honestly an effort thing. Now the media is about to say they are much better without Melo (comical) but they did play great without him, so I can't argue it.

I felt like they did kind of get fortunate - in the sense that their outside shots WERE dropping tonight. Novak poured in a huge 15 points and Kidd had a lot of timely buckets. It was definitely a fun game to watch in the 2nd half.

Stoudemire was terrific and has clearly proven at this point that A. He needs to be playing at least 30 minutes a game. B. He needs to play the last quarter, specifically the last 5 minutes.

Doubt that Melo plays versus Detroit, another big game for the Knicks. If they can pull that one out without Anthony, then the showdown versus OKC will be really fun.

Honestly, last night at least, it's because they play a different style of ball without Melo in there. We've reverted to the Melo-ball style from last season, when they're at their most effective when Melo is balling in the flow of the offense. Felton drive and kick keeps everyone involved and gets open looks for our shooters instead of forcing iso's and spot ups.

J.R. also needs to calm the [expletive] down with the 3's and keep driving to the basket, he and Felton were getting to the rim at will.
