Updating a previous post, there's a "great
possibility" Kobe Bryant (sprained ankle) will play against the Pacers
on Friday night, a Lakers source tells Mark Medina of the Los Angeles
Daily News.

Bryant is technically being called a game-time
decision, but the odds of him playing seem to be increasing by the hour
despite the "severe" ankle sprain. Pacers beat writer Scott Agness
reported earlier in the 5 p.m. hour that Bryant went through a pregame
workout on the court, although a source told Agness that Kobe looked
"tender." We can't imagine Kobe will be anywhere close to 100 percent if
he does suit up, but that certainly hasn't stopped him before.
