Karl Malone
T-Mac in his prime. VC right now, because of T-Mac's injuries. Overall, i'd go with T-Mac.
OldChili
I'll take VC both in his prime and right now.

Carmelamare
Vince Carter, because he isn't a 2nd round virgin. Edited June 29, 2009 by Psychø T
BlueDevil
T-mac in his prime was a scoring champion. Thats who I would take. VC was huge in playoffs though, something T-Mac clearly is not.

alcstarheel
Three questions in the post but only one question in the poll? Prime: Pretty close, but Vince really took his teams deep and really stepped up in the 'offs when he had the chance. Tracy still has yet to do that. Now: Vince, he's putting together stronger seasons and looks like he can keep going longer.Career-wise: Also pretty close. Both have made their impacts. Neither have gotten to that mountaintop and both have had those times where their decision making could have derailed their careers completely. Each have had leadership lapses. Right now you could easily say that The Mac has the tools to be a better all around player...deadly as a scorer, can guard if he's up to it, great passer and rebounder. But Vince has lived up to that and done it on bigger stages. That can't be overlooked.
EastCoastNiner
Prime- T-Mac Now- VC Career- T-Mac without a doubt. Vince Carter is extremely one dimensional, and is one of the players that basketball coaches will use as an example of a player not to aspire to be like. He plays no defense at all. Check my Stats
T-Mac chucked terribly during his 30 PPG days though....
His Greatness
McGrady in his prime was one of the most lethal scoring threats ever. He's on his last legs right now, but in their primes, it's no contest: T-Mac.
