JMEWLS Posted October 29, 2012 Report Share Posted October 29, 2012 Well I was, I was seriously hoping that McRoberts was going to get cut but obviously it wasn't meant to be. QRich will be missed, I wont be surprised if a team wants to pick him up on the waivers. He's still a half decent defender. I'm not sure about his scoring touch anymore but the guy's a leader and he's never complained once since he's been in the Magic. Personaly I would've liked to see McRoberts cut also so we could've seen what could've been with Eyenga the guy didn't get a chance at all. I guess only time will tell if we've made the right decision. Hopefully the McRoberts does something a little better then what he did in the preseason because I was seriously unimpressed. To a lesser extent so was McRoberts but he played horrible. I didn't think front office would be inclined to put him on waivers. He was a key defensive player in our rotation last season. Also, I'd be shocked if McRoberts steps his game up and plays well. As far as Q-Rich goes, I don't know...he has been pretty bad over the last couple years, and you were only going to get about 15 minutes out of him every game (and any more than that, you're really making a mistake). Honestly, I'd rather see Harkless getting all of those minutes, and more. Even E'Twaun Moore. Orlando has no reason to try and make the playoffs (just don't see that happening), and I'm not one to say they should tank, either...so just try and get your young players some burn, evaluate your talent, and see where that gets you in June (in the draft, of course, lol). 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Magic think he's one of the foundation pieces for the team moving on so we're gonna give him as much opportunity as possible. I've never really watch Eyenga which is why I was intrigued.
