Monta Ellis in locker room w/ ankle injury

Monta Ellis, who was just 2-of-9 with four points in the third quarter, took himself out of Friday's game and went straight to the locker room to have X-rays taken of his sprained right ankle.

He basically jogged into the locker room so the injury doesn't look that serious. However, he's questionable to return and owners have to hope the injury doesn't linger.

What happened Yama?

Curry is going to play the rest of the game here unless he fouls out(4 fouls) and then has to go up agaist Nash Saturday probably with Ellis out, it is going to be a rough 2 days for him.

Curry with a career high of 29 points so far he will hit at least 35 tonight, also is shooting well 10-17.

His ankle was feeling sore this morning too. He has a plate in his ankle ever since that injury he had a few seasons ago and when it rains, it gets sore or something like that. His ankle was sore all day and I guess he just rolled it during the game. He called for a timeout and went into the locker room.

I'm not surprised Ellis is having ankle problems considering how much he has played lately. Maggette played GREAT scoring 29 points on 9 of 14 shooting.

Yeah, 42 minutes per game is crazy. Recently he has been playing almost 48 minutes every game. If he is injured that leaves GSW with only one guard.
