Cowboys' Ware questionable, likely a game-time decision vs. Saints

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys have listed linebacker DeMarcus Ware as questionable for Saturday night's game against undefeated New Orleans.

Ware is recovering from a strained neck sustained in a headfirst collision during Sunday's loss to the San Diego Chargers.

The Cowboys had to provide his game status Friday. On their practice report Thursday, Ware was listed as not participating even though he was on the field during the 90-minute practice without pads that was like a walkthrough.

The Cowboys' official Web site said Ware is likely a game-time decision.

Ware, who has started all 77 of his regular-season games since being the 11th overall pick in 2005, has said he wants to play against the Saints. The three-time Pro Bowl linebacker attended meetings and participated in walkthrough sessions this week.

Saints TE Jeremy Shockey will be inactive for Saturday night’s game against the Cowboys because of turf toe, according to a team source.

Shockey was listed as questionable on the Saints’ injury report after he was limited in the last two practices.

Saints WR Lance Moore, who hasn’t played since Week 8, will dress in Shockey’s place.

another three and out, wow

this might be one of those games where the Saints have to make a second half surge

Second half is ways away it is only the first Q, but yes getting 2 straight punts to start the game off with is very good.

Lets see how the Saints play from behind agaist a solid team.
