Play him more, get him healthy, or something.Mike Miller has not been given a high enough role to be considered team MVP at all, and I don't see his role changing because he shares so many minutes with the backups. Jamison is the clear cut MVP at the moment.And Antawn Jamison has been a part of just four games in the 13 they've played, two wins and two losses (one win against the Sixers, the other against the Cavs, where Miller contributed with 17/8/6 on 64% shooting). Jamison is one of the worst defenders in the NBA starting at the four position. It's not even up for debate. Jeff Green dominated him on the glass already, Darnell Jackson had a career game against him in just 20 minutes, Tim Duncan shut him down completely, and that's in three of those four he played. You have replacement scoring. Jamison isn't a traditional post player, and he doesn't get many of his teammates involved. Mike has played in at least 9-10 games, put up good numbers in limited minutes, despite the shoulder injury he's playing through. His value to the team is pretty high as a perimeter threat, a passer, a rebounder (at his position), mid-range, and he even plays a little defense, which is five times the amount Jamison plays. I think, if Gilbert was healthy and Jamison didn't play a single game all year, the Wizards would win 45 games with Blatche in the five. On the other hand, if they had their core of Arenas, Jamison and Butler, but didn't have Miller...well, they'd do what they have done every year with them, and win under 45...and that's really not much of a difference.
