Cavs (if Lebron leaves)

Raptors

Pistons, they need to start from scratch again

Spurs, once Duncans gone

Celtics, big 3 exiting prime + Rondo is their only young talent

there are lots of young teams that can make the next jump. You might see the Grizzlies, Thunder, Kings, Bobcats, Bucks be contenders in the near future.

Probably the Spurs. Duncan's age will finally catch up to him, same with Manu. Their best players are either in their prime right now or well past it.

The Celtics could have problems too, with their core consisting of players all past their prime, they don't have a whole lot of young talent to rely on for the future yet.

I think the Celtics will because once Rondo is expected to be an actual integral part of the franchise they will be disappointed IMO, and you have to wonder how much the guys there really have left in the tank. Spurs are another team that come to mind. I think the Suns will struggle as they used to once Amare and Nash are gone, the Raptors will continue to be mediocre at best. Ummm, Cavs will be just -_- if LBJ leaves same with Miami.

I think the Mavs will always be there because they have a committed owner willing to spend as much as needed to put a winner out there.

The Celtics? We have Rondo, Tony Allen, Glen Davis, Kendrick Perkins, Bill Walker. If any team is going to do bad, it will be the spurs or the suns.

Those are all role players besides Rondo who is not a guy you can count on to be an offensive catalyst IMO, at least in terms of scoring.

You're joking right? You really think a team lead by those players could succeed? All of them are role players at best except Rondo, who isn't a player you can build a team around.

Rondo looks better cause of the HOFers around him. Same thing with Kendrick Perkins, while hes a good defender thats all he is and wouldnt be the same without KG. Tony Allen, Bill Walker, Glen Davis, mehhh.

Unless the Celtics pull a bunny out of a hat again and get a couple hall of famers to play with those guys you just mentioned, they wont be relevant for a while. But they are a storied franchise and could very well attract guys, so anything is posssibleeeeeee. But they did suck for all those years and nobody was jumping to play for them, so that could also happen again.
