Who should the Rockets trade McGrady for now?

Kings won't trade Kevin Martin, Iggy is off the table, and Butler is headed to Dallas. Where and who should the Rockets deal Tracy for?

The Chicago Tribune reported that the Bulls and Rockets are still discussing a possible T-Mac trade. I'd be happy with a deal like this.

Rockets trade

Tracy McGrady

Bulls trade

Brad Miller

Tyrus Thomas

Kirk Hinrich

Bulls future first (lottery protected in 2010)

There is always the option of keeping Tracy for the season.

It's Tracy McGrady we're talking about... you really think a team would give away that much for him? C'mon man..

$23 million off the books...and its not like Tracy can't play either.

Chicago only needs to empty about $5 million or so from their payroll, just enough to offer Wade that hefty contract. They won't put that much into an offer for McGrady unless they were getting back someone like Scola or Landry as well.

Rockets chasing Tyrus Thomas, Jamison and perhaps Jordan Hill.

The Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets made bids for Thomas over the weekend, league sources said. The Nuggets have actively searched for a big man in recent weeks, working to pry younger (DeAndre Jordan(notes)) and older ones (Antonio McDyess(notes) and Ben Wallace(notes)) without success.

After losing out on Caron Butler(notes) to the Mavericks, Houston has gotten serious with bids for Thomas and Washington’s Antawn Jamison(notes), sources said.

Two sources told the New York Times that Donnie Walsh, Daryl Morey and Arn Tellem held "substantive discussions" on Sunday about a possible trade to send Tracy McGrady to New York.

The teams are trying to make the deal without the assistance of a third team. The Knicks could offer a package including expiring contracts and a young player, perhaps Jordan Hill. The Rockets reportedly do not have interest in Jared Jeffries or Eddy Curry.

A rumored three-way deal involving the Wizards would not be possible now that Caron Butler has been traded to Dallas.
