  1. Okay so I thought i'd post a little blog entry I did for my own site, if you guys don't accept it just remove the links or something but I thought I'd raise a few things from the players after tonights game. So feel free to agree or disagree. http://nbadimensions.net/forums/content/magic-open-season-bang-330/
  2. Yeah I think one of the main reasons that Magic made the QRich move was to eventually open up minutes for Harkless. The Magic think he's one of the foundation pieces for the team moving on so we're gonna give him as much opportunity as possible. I've never really watch Eyenga which is why I was intrigued. I guess I shouldn't have them from your judgement.
  3. Clippers have already got a large collection of swingmen though. Couldn't see it happening. I guess one can dream
  4. But his contract was guaranteed. To a lesser extent so was McRoberts but he played horrible. I didn't think front office would be inclined to put him on waivers. He was a key defensive player in our rotation last season. No longer a scorer just a lock down defender. He did alright at times. But offensively there was a big decline.
  5. Well I was, I was seriously hoping that McRoberts was going to get cut but obviously it wasn't meant to be. QRich will be missed, I wont be surprised if a team wants to pick him up on the waivers. He's still a half decent defender. I'm not sure about his scoring touch anymore but the guy's a leader and he's never complained once since he's been in the Magic. Personaly I would've liked to see McRoberts cut also so we could've seen what could've been with Eyenga the guy didn't get a chance at all. I guess only time will tell if we've made the right decision. Hopefully the McRoberts does something a little better then what he did in the preseason because I was seriously unimpressed.
  6. I've just stuck a thread up in the off topic forum, the links page is still a rough draft, once I'm on holidays from College I'll be updating it with a few more things and it'll look a little more appealing, I just wanted to get something up because one of our members wanted to exchange links. I'll be sure to get a description off you guys when I fix the page up, but the link will remain there until I've started on the design work. As for an image and whatnot, I'm not huge on the graphics side of things on the website anymore. I'll just whip up a quick screen shot of us and attach it here, nothing too amazing. http://i46.tinypic.com/2jcww42.png NBA Dimensions - NBA BASKETBALL FORUM: A website that isn't new to the internet game, the forums have been up since 2007 and has housed over 1 million posts and some of the best basketball fans the internet has seen. Majority of the action is within the forums, so it's best you sign up and contribute to the ongoing debates and discussion.
  7. Yup, my stupid lesson for not backing up the database... Again.
  8. I don't know how keen you are affiliating with another NBA forum but I'll be happy to link your site from us. We've got a links section, not a group of forums, it's only got one link because it's only just really been up and I haven't even promoted the feature or anything. But if you want I'm happy to link you guys up. http://nbadimensions.net/forums/links.php That's the page if you're interested in knowing where the link will be.
  9. I'm not on this board frequently enough to have a problem with guys, from what I've seen in the Magic forum things are fine. But there's always tension within the memberbase of all forums.
  10. First off I obviously don't have much say in what happens on this site, I'm only here to post in the Magic forum because I've seen this place slowly go on the decline, I don't wanna see this place go so many other forums have stemmed from this original the whole basketball world isn't gonna be the same. I figured this is the least I can do. Plus for most part I enjoy posting about the Magic, so it's cool. One thing I've found that sticks constant with forums is when there's threads people will post, more threads means more posts. Sounds obvious but it always works. Recruiting is something that rarely ever works. Built Ford Tough can vouch this, recruiting off youtube and other social networks are hard now because of Twitter. Which is a shame, only new members that come now are either from google and networking between friends. Also if users have problems with others just use the ignore list cannot stress it enough, half the users on my own site didn't even know we had one before I told them. It's slowed down the flaming and consistent bashing between members.
  11. No doubt, this years just gonna be a learning process. We'll be like the Warriors a few years ago who had a lineup nearly every night. I think that Ayon will end up playing more minutes to be honest. But just going off what I've been reading as of late Vaughn wants Ayon's energy off the bench. Him and O'Quinn have got good motors, we'll probably see the minutes distributed between the three almost evenly when everyone settles in.
  12. He'll come into the league slow after the injury, but I'd imagine after he gets experience his production will go up exponentially. I'm hoping this anyway. But don't be too surprised if he comes into the game playing pretty lackluster.
  13. Latest news is indicating that Vucevic is going to be starting. Glen Davis is almost definitely going to be starting at the 4. I'm still not 100% on Harkless I'm yet to see him on the NBA level yet and it can go two ways with him. Either he amazes me or he just plays to my standards which is a solid role player once he gets into the swing of things. Vaughn's stressed how he's trying to create a culture of players who actually wanna play. Turkoglu hasn't looked like he's been wanting to play since 09 so I think he may eventually go out of the lineup but he'll almost definitely be starting at the beginning of the year. I would love to move Redick up to the 2 and Afflalo to the three but then it really slims our bench production. That's depending on how Moore continues to play, who's really been great so far. If I'm going safe its CT: Nikola Vucevic PF: Glen Davis SF: Hedo Turkoglu SG: Arron Afflalo PG: Jameer Nelson But after the years end the 5,3,2 can all be different the two positions that are set are the 1 and 4 in my opinion.
  14. Well the position that's really up in the air right now is at center, but the lineups potentially going to change throughout the season. What will be our lineup starting the season? What will be our lineup ending the season?
