  1. Kobe better not play in the Allstar game, or take part in any weekend activities, that's like 10+ days of rest right there, Kobe also needs to tone down his shooting a bit, let his team play it out instead of him missing 15 shots a game. Kobe has to have more trust in his team like last year and his MVP year, I just don't see it in him this year Yes you can say we don't have the intensity like we had last year, but that gets done in practice, if he's gonna play hurt, he shouldn't hurt the team as well, in fact he should lean on em more we have a talented group of guys that have to kinda mash their way together as the season goes on.
  2. Kobe could stop chucking the damn ball every time he gets it, that's what he can do <_<
  3. complacency for the Lakers

  4. I think the best fit for him would probably be the Knicks, becuase he looks like he still wants to dominate the ball and who cares if he wants to doinate in New York, their already discombobulated as is. The kings sounds interesting but then again it all depends on Tracy's mentality
  5. He's gotta lose the laziness but other than that this guy could ball, no question about that, just needs to put on some weight so he don't get pushed around
  6. Hate to hear things like this, young players in the league need to be "babied" in a way before they feel more comfortable in this league just the way how it is sometimes, not everybody is a Lebron or OJ mayo type player that could just come into the league and adapt quickly into the game. If the case is Andrew not getting enough help, I hope Andrew gets the problem resolved soon, cause we need him to be at his best.
  7. When Kobe makes 53% of his shots then get back to me, MJ took just as many hard shots if not harder and was still a lot more efficient. Michael scored 37ppg and shot 48% from the field and Kobe 35ppg shooting 45%. Granted Kobe might be more of a clutch player I'll give him that but MJ is MJ and Kobe's Kobe and that should be it, I'm tired of this repetitive stuff.
  8. Most definitely, the Kings and the Blazers are those young teams that play extremely well off the energy that their fans give them. The blazers we can't seem to beat at their place as I said but we handle them fairly easily at home. However I remember a game last year when the Kings just wouldn't go away as our bench came in and I think that really sparked the Lakers complacency thing (that game was early last year can't remember the exact date), but the point I'm trying to get at is the Kings are sure not going to bow down to the Lakers from now on and the Lakers have to realize that
  9. Yeah I'd include the Blazers as well, simply based on the fact that we can't beat them at their place Talent wise the Kings may not be at our levels, but they play hard enough to make a game out of playing us, at first I dismissed the thought of them being considered a rival(mostly because of the Lakers complacency) but the Lakers see this team a lot during the course of the year, it's not like when they play the Bobcats and they get lackadaisical, the kings put up a fight, but whatever, this could be me just wanted to see the rivalry again
  10. Kings fans now seem to appreciate the young talent that their team has, especially when they face the Lakers. The Lakers obviously have a huge target on their back with arguably the best player on the planet on their squad to add turmoil. However, with the addition of Tyreke Evans, who one can make a strong case of him being R.O.Y, and young stars coming into form, added on to the fact that the Lakers are the Lakers and every team out there wants to whoop em, will the Lakers-Kings rivalry resume? And why or why not? To those who think the Kings are not worthy enough to be the Lakers rivals, take into consideration the fact that Tyreke did not play well, Kevin Martin was injured, though Artest did not play either. The future macthups between the two teams have the potential to be highly competitive imo. I'll recall the rivalry that pre-existed to those who can't remember and I don't think the rivarly can get back to where it used to be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbcv9CZR-0Q
  11. Magic as of now, kobe is right up his [expletive] tho, and I'd put Jerry West over Kareem honestly
  12. Allstar game is all good, but I'd rather see Gasol getting more and more with the team flow than trying to bust his way to the allstar game (take like 30 shots a game), however I'll probably vote for Gasol, based on how west, boozer, and Stoudemire aren't haven't exceptional years so far
