  2. Happy 3rd Forum Anniversary! :)

  3. Hedo and Humprhies are tied for me. No way either guy diserves that much money.
  4. I think the idea behind this is to show how long of intervule it had been between seasons 2 and 3. If you're using a weapon every day for 6 months like it's hinted that they had been doing than you're going to get very good handling it. It's also showing that Carl is losing his innocence in this new world. I love this show and hate that it wont be on again until February.
  5. Obviously super teams are having an effect on the game, but we're also at a transition period in the NBA right now. The stars of the 00s are getting older and are unable to put up these numbers while the younger players haven't reached their ability to consistently score 20 points every night. I do think as the season wears on we'll see guys scoring averages go up again. Like mentioned with Irving and Love, there are guys hurt and what not.
  6. As a Jazz fan that is good. But as an NBA fan I'd hate it. My guess is that the Spurs will find creative ways around it. One way would be to send them out and have them commit fouls really quickly and pull them. Then just keep having them do it and blame their lack of playing time on foul trouble.
  7. Go Jazz, but I fully expect the Thunder to win by 30.
  8. Typical 4chan, but this is kind of funny. They sure got their lulz on this one.
  9. My first NBA game was some time in 1986 or 87. It was Jazz vs Lakers and Magic Johnson had a horrible shooting night but had like 20 assists and I thought he was the worst player ever.
  10. The Spurs do have the right to do what they want with their roster, and had they sent Duncan home I don't think there would have been an our cry. The issue here is that they're basically giving away a game and that hurts the league in the long run. Now, there are tons worse tanking than this done at the end of the year by the bad teams. But this kind of thing hurts the NBA's public image and than in turn hurts the bottom line. Fact is everything is about money. David Stern's job as commissioner is to see that the league operates smoothly and that the business of basketball is taken care of. But now that the presidence has been set the NBA is going to have to step up and start fining the lottery tankers for this as well.
  11. This is actually frusterating. He is worthless and the Jazz need to swollow their pride and dump him
  12. That was a fun game. Or at least the second half was, first half sucked.

  14. I normally think Stern is a jack wagon but this makes sense and I am kind of in favor of this. This just pisses off the two main sources of revenue for the league. The broadcasters who have paid billions to air the games biggest stars and the fans who pay a lot of money to see these teams play.
