  1. The Big Shamrock, Shaq to Boston. Celtics open up with Heat at home!

  2. Let Me Tell You A Story is a good book, is a book about Red Auerbach.
  3. I didn't even realize he was playing on the Bobcats' summer league team. Anyone know his numbers?
  4. Wow, great post by Nitro. But the thing for me that sets this Lakers teams apart from other teams in the league is there size. With two seven footers in the starting lineup, and a talented 6'10 power forward off the bench, do you think the Bulls would have enough size to matchup with them? The Celtics had a lot of size in Kevin Garnett, Kendrick Perkins, Rasheed Wallace, and Glen Davis, and they couldnt handle the Lakers bigs. Makes it hard for me to believe 6'7 Dennis Rodman and two white 7 footers could get the job done.
  5. your the man nitro, love reading your posts

  6. If Chris Paul does land in New York, you know that Melo is going with them. Imagine how interesting the East would be with the top six teams being the Heat, Knicks, Magic, Hawks, Celtics, and Bulls.
  7. Rondo/Perkins/Sheed for Paul/Okafor

  8. Thats what people say every year, but I garuntee the status of every player on my team will not change from now until late August.
  9. Maybe this will make Al want to stay? C- Al Jefferson (25 years old) PF- Kevin Love (21 years old) SF- Michael Beasley (21 years old) SG- Wesley Johnson (23 years old) PG- Johny Flynn (21 years old) Bench- Corey Brewer (24 years old), Martell Webster (23 years old), Ricky Rubio (19? years old) Could be something good down the road in Minnesota
  10. Seriously? That would be your plan if you ran this team? You got a bunch of young guys with bright futures like Brook Lopez, Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, Terrence Williams, and Damion James, and you want them to go out there and tank it? Why not surround them with a supporting cast, and push them along to the next level. Then when you add another big time player next year, you have a young core group of players that have some experience playing at a higher level, and are excited about what they can do.
  11. Obviously these aren't the guys that are going to win them games. But these are the guys that are going to help out. If you read my original post, they brought in all these role players, but still have a lot of unused money. They came into the free agency period with around $25 millions dollars in cap space, and have not spent close to that. So adding these role players is a good idea if they go out next summer and use that money on a stud like Melo. Come on boys, read the full post, yall are better then that.
  12. I think your over analyzing things. You said you only watched one quarter of his debut game. He will be fine, he's got all the physical tools, and a great basketball mind. I never remember Rondo, or Al Jefferson impressing people in these leagues either.
  13. Before Lbron made the decision, I was really hoping he didn't pick Miami. I just thought it would be unfair for superstars to build there own team. But now that it is official, I like the idea. I think it is going to be fun for the league, and the Eastern Conference. The East is going to be fun next year, especially the playoffs. We have five really good squads, which means two of them will be matched up in the first round. Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago, and Boston. Can't wait!
