Delonte West goes on Twitter Rant
Real Deal replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Dallas Mavericks Team Forum
What exactly did Windhorst say? I mean, I'm not blaming him (or maybe I am)...but I'm not even sure what he wrote in the first place. Delonte sounds pissed off at more than just one guy, anyway. He talks about the Dallas media in general, and I think it's all something that has built up inside for a long time. Sadly, it's his fault. -
Griffin, CP3 Don’t Like ‘Lob City’ Name
Real Deal replied to Sħãlïq™'s topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
He doesn't like it because you can't score 90-100 points on lobs, and it only refers to the offensive side of the ball, lol. -
From this point on, based on how these teams are performing...I'd have to say the Toronto Raptors out East (since Cleveland looks like they could sneak in, and I wouldn't be that surprised) and Minnesota in the West. I can't select anyone that made the playoffs last season, as long as they are giving us the same roster (or nearly the same) this year.

1 year till we can take our country back!
Real Deal replied to reno's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
Just watched his views on how to solve our current economic disaster(s). Creative destruction? He wants to let it all fall apart, quickly, and rebuild from it? Look...this stuff may have worked from the 1800's to present day...but there's a difference between that 200-year jump in jobs and such...to what would happen at this point in time. Most everyone was a farmer in the 1700's and 1800's. Creative destruction was so effective, over time, because there were far too many new ideas, products and jobs to utilize. That won't work these days. I just can't believe he's suggesting this. -

Rashard Lewis refused to play Sunday after argument
Real Deal replied to AboveLegit's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
Never liked him, never will. It could be a good thing for Washington...maybe it'll push the front office to do something about the problems the team is having, in regards to how these guys are acting. As I said in another topic, they all act like they hate each other now, and hardly any of them are playing smart out there. -
Is Booker the only smart player on this Wizards team???

1 year till we can take our country back!
Real Deal replied to reno's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
He actually came out and stated exactly what I said (almost word-for-word) in one of the debates, and he was the only guy I liked from the party until those comments. Dropping private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, social security, and everything in between...is probably the worst thing he has said. Sure, his other ideas sound great. Stop aid everywhere else, FOCUS ON AMERICA (they all say that), etc...but when he comes out and says that we should all save our money and take care of our own healthcare, when we need it...that's just ignorant, unless he has some plan that drops the cost of everything healthcare by a very significant amount of money, which then leads to less in the medical field, more waiting times, and other things that will ruin that part of the United States even more. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/12/ron-paul-attacked-for-views-on-health-care That's from the same debate I watched. It was then that he performed damage control, a bit, but it's obvious what he wants to do BEYOND eliminating Medicaid and Medicare. He almost slipped and just put it out there. He's an ignorant man, period. If he were to ditch those programs (even assuming he'd keep private insurance and social security), it would be one of the worst things any President has ever done in office. -
I've never, ever believed in Brandon Jennings. The guy is this horrible poor man's version of Allen Iverson, and there's very few (if any other than Ivo) that can do what he did with the amount of help (little) that he had. Jennings just won't be that player, ever. The first few highlights I watched from him, back when he was in HS, I came to that conclusion, while ESPN was hyping him up to be the next Iverson. As far as Bogut goes, it's puzzling. There's so much potential there, but he's not reaching it. Could he be a guy that propels someone like the Wolves into a playoff spot? Possibly, if he would play enough games and minutes to matter. At his best, he's a very good, and legit, defensive anchor who can score the ball efficiently. At his worst? He's terrible, and usually missing. With Redd gone (and he has been for years, honestly), no Ray Allen, no Terry Cummings...it's time for Milwaukee to find a star, and the only way they'll pull that off is digging through the draft. No big-name free agent will want to be there, and few teams (like Orlando) will want to rebuild with Bogut and Jennings (all they have to do is see it not work here), so the future does not look very good with this franchise, unless they go that route very soon.

Yeah, desperation mode kicked in. Most scorers get that way, no matter who they have for teammates (saw it with Kobe, MJ, Barkley, Reggie, Shaq, Dirk, etc). Durant has done it a few times, also, and I really don't blame them for making that decision. If the team loses, they usually get the blame, no matter what...so there's no point in thinking about that when the clock is ticking.
