  1. Mannnn...yeah, that third came at the very last minute of the game. But, I'll say this: he wouldn't have thrown three INT's if McFadden was playing. I can't remember how many times Palmer threw the ball, but it seemed like he threw it every play. I'm far too used to putting the ball on the ground, I guess. I like Bush, but he's not as productive or effective as DMF. Speaking of rushing, we aren't going to win any game when we allow the opposing QB and RB a total of 287 yards rushing + the three interceptions thrown, not to mention ignorant penalties. We had more net yards, more first downs, better 3rd down completion, better in the red zone...but it doesn't take much to blow the game.
  2. We need McFadden back, badly. This is pathetic.
  3. I'm getting rocked. Damn the NFL...far too unpredictable for me this season.
  4. If there were more small-market teams like the Spurs, who spend their money wisely (not just on players, but on coaching and an excellent crew of assistants and scouts, especially international scouting), this wouldn't be such a big problem. I find it funny that the owners have been digging their own graves for years, and now, they want to punish players, NBA employees, and all of the fans for it.
  5. The one thing that pisses me off most about Jordan, other than him being a part of the group that threatened decertification back then...was that, in his last two seasons at Chicago, Jordan made $30 million and $33 million...which is the most by any player in NBA history (single season). Now, he's asking the players to take 37% of the BRI, down from 57%, after the owners are basically getting everything to begin with? I love Mike on the court...but off the court, I rarely hear anything good about him.
  6. Offensive MVP: Calvin Johnson If he shatters Moss' TD record, and if the Lions get into the playoffs (doubt they win the division, thanks to GB), he has to be the MVP, or a very close runner-up to Rodgers. Nobody touches him, one-on-one, and it's Stafford throwing to him, not Tom Brady. Defensive MVP: Darrelle Revis I almost thought about sliding Ngata in here, but at least you have some players that aren't intimidated. I think everyone in the NFL is worried about Revis. Surpise Team: Cincinnati Bengals Wasn't really sure if the Bengals were going to win four games this season. They've already done that. Dissapointing Team: Indianapolis Colts Okay, so I could've predicted a losing season...but not an 0-8 start. Offense, defense...nothing is clicking, and that's disappointing, because the Colts should be winning, at the most, two games a month. Dissapointing Player: Chris Johnson Not even close. Offensive Rookie: Cam Newton I like what Green is doing, but Newton can't go for 400+ in his first two games of his career, and play very good football, while being ignored for ROY. Defensive Rookie: Aldon Smith Just no trouble getting through the o-line and picking up his sack. Almost feels like you're ready for th it. Coach of the midseason: Jim Harbaugh Not scared to actually coach a game, take risks, and get a bit too pumped up during celebration (lol). 49ers today > yesterday.
  7. Didn't Jordan lead the team of players that threatened to decertify back in the mid-90s? I'm pretty sure it was him and Ewing. WTF is he thinking?
  8. Haha, I know...I posted at 5:34 AM, and I used my phone, so reading titles (and not being able to use the search function as well) assisted in the screw-up.
  9. MONTHS after everyone here has probably tore this game up, beating it both as a hero and villain...I'm not sure what to think of it. I got it for free after the PSN hack, and I finally dove into the game. Seems a bit repetitive. I am always on a rooftop, electrocuting reapers from another rooftop. Camera angles get a bit weird when I'm fighting. Just finished the Bloody Trail mission, though...so I'm not too far along.
  10. Who determines the Game of the Year awards? I read that RDR had one, Batman: AA was another...LBP another. Is it IGN, Gamespot, or...?
  11. I don't think anyone can argue against Cam meeting expectations, but the fact is, the expectations were high for him. I wouldn't say he was on LeBron's level, as far as hype goes, but let's put it this way: there have been 10 QB's taken #1 in the last 13 years. How much hype did Manning get? Vick was up there. I still think Newton has had the most hype of them all, at least around here where I'm at. People that called him a potential bust have been doing it, for the most part, because they absolutely hate him and the way things turned out in Auburn. I'll say that Andrew Luck has already exceeded Newton's hype, though. BUT, yes, Newton has done pretty good. He's my ROY, and it would take a huge collapse for that to change. There's no way he's a top 5 QB, though.
