  1. Fisher is amazingly stupid...just got destroyed by Miles on that block. Wow.
  2. ...and Fisher has some of the worst defense I've ever seen.
  3. Baseball and football divisional forums? Enough activity for hockey divisionals? Voice your opinion.
  4. Gotta try and get a skin up soon, guys. Sorry for not having it available when I re-opened the site, but I think having the board up and running was a bit more important, skin or no skin. I'll do what I can before I leave town tomorrow.
  5. Nothing wrong with CTS, guys. AboveLegit does a great job over there. Let's just keep this OTR, please. EDIT: Hey, cool emoticon.
  6. Part of it was because I was irate, the other part was because the site was already going nuts from the playoffs. That was 2006, when the Suns/Lakers series was a MONSTER to admin through...and every series had baiting in it, big time. A few of us remember the Suns/Lakers, haha.
  7. That's not really my problem. I didn't merge with them. AboveLegit seems to understand the situation. That's all that matters. I don't even know who that one guy is, the one that has a problem with it. He wasn't in these chats, he didn't even post here, so it's nothing he should be concerned with...haha. As far as me closing OTR down, I've closed it down twice...once after the Heat won the championship, once a few days ago. I closed it down once, on purpose, to catch our hacker (you guys remember that). Other than that...never did. Gotta get those facts straight.
  8. Some have an idea, but I can't really point fingers until it's 100% certain. I have mixed emotions...we've done a few things to try and catch him screwing up, slipping, etc...but nothing. You missed out on some interesting chats.
  9. I expect a lot of people to come back, because I've already talked with almost all of them...and we've been in the same chats with the guy causing all of the problems. Some of us have been up until 2 or 3 in the morning, talking with him in those chats. But, again, doesn't matter to me, either way. I won't beg anyone to come back. I found a new way to recruit through Twitter, and to get some of our 40+ guests to register when our new topics are posted, so for the members that don't want to return, we'll do our best to cover for them. Simple as that, really...so no hard feelings.
  10. Gotta read the first post to understand how it happened. I think people were listening to others WAY too much hours after the board was closed down. However, I'm not going to worry about it this time around. If you post less, or don't post at all, that's perfectly fine. We'll move on.
  11. It was going to stay closed down, until I found out ONE person was responsible for turning me against everyone (and now he's trying to turn the members against each other, some know what I'm talking about). But that will die down. One guy isn't going to get what he wants. He outsmarted me...good for him, but his "success" (if that's what you want to call it) is short-lived.
  12. All avatars and profile photos are deleted...didn't have those recovered, just the database. And I'll design a skin soon. I need a break. :\
  13. This was posted while the board was down, just in case you missed it. A lot of us were dealing with this person over the last 2-3 days, so there doesn't need to be much said about it. Let's continue what we've been doing for five years, guys, and leave the outsiders looking in.
  14. Good win, but too many turnovers, and a fourth-quarter collapse (midway through it)...just can't say it's good enough to win a championship. Not yet, at least. We need to play better, maintain leads and limit turnovers.
  15. Kobe time in the fourth? Miles just can't defend his post.
  16. The first five rows are celebrities, and the next 70% are mostly older fans who don't care to cheer. They are the only ones that can afford Lakers tickets. The loudest part of STAPLES, unfortunately, is in the nosebleed section.
  17. I don't get it. Why not just keep our guys in for a change, push it hard and not let off the gas, and make sure we don't have to fight back so damn hard to close the game out? Phil wants everyone to play limited minutes, but it's better to let them run a bit longer if it means they don't have to claw their way out of a huge Jazz run every fourth quarter.
  18. I'm okay with 44% FG, but it's not great. Don't want to take away from Matthews' defense, though. And yes, the turnovers are a problem right now. Him and Gasol both have five.
  19. You sure can't tell that Bynum is playing with a hole in his meniscus. He's playing pretty damn good right now. Kobe isn't shooting the ball as well as I'd want him to (7-16, 44%), but he's making plays and playing good defense. Gasol is playing good as well.
  20. Not really. He does it quite a bit, unfortunately. Wide-open layups, as you can see.
  21. Haha...yep. While I said he deserved the award, I actually said that Oden was the best defensive big in the NBA before he was injured. Fact is, Howard would've kept that title even if Oden stayed healthy.
