Nah, don't look at it that way. Winning three consecutive home games is tough, but this team winning three consecutive road games is next to impossible.

I wouldn't say we play better as a team without Bryant. Our only real win came against the Jazz. The other teams we played were either suffering from injuries or on losing streaks (no Roy for Portland, Spurs losing over half of their last seven or eight before us, etc). Teams just don't know who to defend when Kobe is out, just like we struggled against Houston for the same reason when Yao was injured.

While the biggest part of me thinks we're just struggling to win these last few games of the season...there's something else I've thought about: do you think it's even remotely possible that Phil Jackson wants three consecutive home games in the Finals? Maybe the Lakers would have trouble winning three consecutive road games, and he doesn't want to be down 3-2? Lakers goggles off for some of you...is it possible that Phil and Kobe are looking ahead to the Finals and any home/road situation we're putting ourselves in? Right now, the Magic are tied with us, and they have the tiebreaker based on conference record (which is BS).

No Kobe, more than likely.

Super-fantastic decision by Phil to rest Kobe against Denver, instead of against a terrible Wolves team. That really makes a lot of sense. If he doesn't play him against the Wolves, I'm going to be pissed.

Nope, it's been raining and a little colder than it should be at night, but I'm running the ceiling fans and stand-ups. Gonna go as long as I can, too, for the sake of my electric bill.

The baiting isn't the problem, really. It's allowed here, just not to the extreme. It makes for good discussion sometimes, and more intensity in the playoffs. The point I was making about the Kobe video, by posting the LeBron one, was that I had two PM's complaining about the LeBron/Telfair mag cover. As you can see in this topic, people also don't like some of kingfish's posts about LeBron. While I felt the magazine topic was pretty stupid, it was no worse than Mason posting the Kobe video (which also leads to no discussion) and the post by Bulletproof, who actually understood why the topic was posted in the first place (the gay reference). You saw the reaction when I posted the James video. One is baiting, one isn't? That's not how it works. Either both are, or both aren't. The reaction to the LeBron video should've been the same as the reaction to the Kobe video, but it wasn't...which actually put a smile on my face, because it's what I expected. Lesson learned, I hope. Thread closed.

Curry needs Monta gone. Sounds selfish, but it's the truth. While Ellis did show signs of improved defense, he's stepping in the way of Curry's development, and in the end, it's Stephen that is the better playmaker and ultimately, better for the team. Does he really have the flu? Probably not. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in trade discussions soon.
