  1. We did that once, and people only voted in about three different match-ups. The more they vote, the quicker it goes...just encourages everyone to participate in the voting.

  4. Haha, I have no idea. That's an EJ "Stat of the Night" for us to wait for.
  5. Thanks bro, but it has. I'm just having a bit of trouble keeping up with the player profiles I'm creating, along with team roster pages, schedules, history, etc. Plus, I had draft results up for 10+ years (I think from 1995-2009), had a trade checker for our mock season that I'll need to somehow re-code, among many other things. But it'll get there. I have a Jamison banner to do tonight, and a new Wizards banner. Then I'm going to cut some new pictures of the Sixers, and add Salmons to the Bucks banner (removing Ersan). Got a podcast to record tonight/tomorrow as well. Tons of work.
  6. He did that a while ago, actually. We had the list up for both of them, just not sure where it went.
  7. LOL, I actually tried this at the park a couple of days ago. I shot it five times, sitting down from 3/4 of the court back, and there was no chance.
  8. And the game-winner, sixth this season (four buzzer-beaters). Yeah, really easy at 80% health, too.
  9. Good win by Phoenix, much needed. I had no idea they'd play that good without Nash, but I guess multiple teams do this throughout the season. For the Thunder...damn. No more win streak. Nine straight until tonight. Durant notched his 29th straight 25+ point game, and Russell Westbrook is playing amazing these last 10 or 11...but it's still a loss.
  10. Now wait a minute. Are you saying Kobe didn't perform well enough this game? Just curious... I think it has more to do with Cleveland performing well enough. Kobe had a near perfect game tonight, and it was still way too close.
  11. THANK YOU for posting this. These articles will definitely help some non-Lakers fans sleep better at night. Fact is, people knew Marc was good. There's a reason why teams have scouts.
  12. This one was good. http://dontevenreply.com/view.php?post=75
  13. Rules: 1) 16 lines max. 2) At least two of those lines must be about your opponent's favorite sports team (basketball, football, etc). 3) Cussing will be censored if you decide to use it. Don't bypass the censor with asterisks or other symbols. 4) If you say Dick Vitale's first name, please censor it yourself by typing [expletive]. In the manner it would be used in this contest, it should be filtered out. NOBODY ELSE POST IN THIS TOPIC UNTIL THE SECOND RAP IS ADDED. After both competitors are finished, members can place their vote. Votes are only valid with an explanation containing three or more sentences, no exceptions. The lower seeds (in terms of position) go first. Based on this match-up, Air Rondo will be asked to post his, followed by Smitty. You have two days to post. Good luck, fellas. Run yo mouth!
  14. Well, then my question lies with the two games I cited from that season. Why didn't LeBron lock him up then? I actually remember one of those highlights, when he was shooting on LeBron, and one of the guys on NBATV was saying how "Batman should've been an all-star." I believe that was in the April game. The November game was when LeBron was supposed to come out and give that defensive stand, and he failed to do so. It's the big reason why he focused all of his attention on Granger in that December game you produced, but his offense suffered from it. Cleveland has a solid defensive unit, one of the best defensive teams in the league. They can take away the drive, and that's not only due to LeBron James. Granger is a shooter, but he does take it to the rim sometimes. Stick LeBron in Washington, no Haywood...and I really don't think he does as good against someone like Granger in that game you gave me, because nobody is behind James to stop the drive. Same thing goes for Ray Allen, when he's defending Bryant. I wouldn't expect Kobe to drive in with Perkins and Garnett (a healthy Garnett) in the game, so when people look at the game and say, "Wow, Ray Allen is forcing Kobe into all of those shots," I think most of us know better than that. I truly think LeBron's defense has improved as well. I've stated that before, actually. I just don't think his on-ball defense is as good as people are making it out to be. He's a juiced Shannon Brown. His athleticism makes it super easy to block shots and steal passes, but against scorers, he finds his feet glued to the floor sometimes, on jumpers or drives, and that's why there are games where he decides not to defend those type of players.
  15. So you just said that "it was one game" when someone gave you what Melo did against LeBron, but then you gave me one game when LeBron held Granger in check? And yes, LeBron did defend Granger in all of those games in 2008-09, including the two you gave me. LeBron is not the best defensive player in the NBA. Do you think he is?
  16. Wasn't that the game LeBron was held to 4/12 shooting by Danny? But yeah, what happened the game before that, back in Cleveland in November? I believe it was Granger who dropped 33 on LeBron, shot almost 60% from the floor, and almost beat the Cavs at home. Granger scored 38 on him, also, back in April of 2009. Kobe shot 33% against the Knicks about a month ago. Just one game.

  18. Apparently, Brandon can demonstrate endless fighting, granted his impressive jumping kicks land momentously, not on powerful quadriceps retaining steroids, to unequaled velocity while Xena's yelling, "Zombies!" Yeah, I have no clue.
  19. That would be funny, if Washington kept Ilgauskas for the rest of the season, just to get revenge on Cleveland for all of those playoff beatings.
  20. Awesome. I like Lesnar, one of my favorite fighters. I just always have that fear that he'll get caught again. He did much better in that second fight with Mir, but I was just waiting for Frank to grab his ankle. Minus those sick-looking hammer fists, he's still pretty solid. People forget that he was a national wrestling champ and played in the NFL (barely, haha). They just remember his days wrestling The Rock and Kurt Angle, haha.
  21. Ah, forgot about that. Deron is going to read this topic and be pissed off you're laughing about it.
  22. That Denver game may be tough, since he'll have to defend Melo and have both Anthony and Afflalo on him quite a bit. I don't think he'll get it. Even that Utah game looks bad for Durant. Kirilenko and Brewer are mean, defensively.
  23. I need to root against both teams, for the Lakers' AND the Thunder's sake. Guess I'll pull for New Orleans, as the Thunder are actually dominating right now.
