  1. Anyone pay attention to this game? The Hornets came out with a win, and I know it's just the Clippers, but still...no CP3, an injured West (who did pretty good, by the way), and a new coach against a Clippers team that has been hanging around versus some good teams this season?
  2. Haha, yep. Fans got their money's worth?
  3. 88-65, Kobe exits the game. Let's see how bad it gets.
  4. Man, Collins is looking bad. We gotta get him back soon.
  5. Aldrich with five blocks. Our offense needs to step up, though.
  6. Landry looks like he's going to turn into a less offensively-injected Charles Barkley, the way he's playing. Aaron Brooks, nice way to suck tonight, against a Steve Nash that you could've burned all night, even without the pick and rolls. Houston looked good at first, when I was watching it. I flipped away for a while, came back and saw that the Suns closed the gap, and it was all downhill from there.
  7. Gotta disagree, bro. I think that's one thing I'll never get. You are really, really heavy on a team's defense. I agree that a team can't win a championship without it, but there are many teams in the past that get to the conference finals with bad defense, namely the Suns and Kings. And that Sixers team finished poorly with Iverson once they rid the team of Larry Brown. You didn't mention the fact that Iverson played a half a season in 2003-04, either, and was injured most of that time he actually was on the floor. Once they brought in Webber, though, that changed it all. He was inconsistent on offense and played absolutely no defense. And C-Webb lasted two seasons with Iverson and the Sixers, and AI finished with four coaches in three years after Brown. You can put the blame on Iverson all you want for those losses, but it was the multiple coaching chances, and the surrounding players, that turned the Sixers into a mediocre team with no fans. If Andre Miller added just one or two wins...that doesn't tell me much at all. Let's see him take Mutombo and Tyrone Hill to the NBA Finals before I start talking about his ability to run and lead a team anywhere outside of the 41 wins he and Iggy were capable of achieving.
  8. Could be just a distraction, wanting out and everything. Might as well trade him while he's still valuable...although I can't see the Warriors having much success with just Curry, Randolph and Biedrins.
  9. Kobe, easily. Melo needs to play better defense, and if you can't say Kobe because of his injuries, you can't say Duncan because of his (and Tim's game has taken a dip from where it was two years ago).
  10. Wow, never play Wright again. I usually flip back and forth to the Raptors games, watched a couple almost all the way through...and I can't really name a time where Wright did very well, overall. Either he's horrible on offense and playing decent defense, or it's the opposite, or horrible on both. My boy Sonny Weems is playing good.
  11. Not really jumping up and down for this one, although that last block and bucket was pretty cool.
  12. How about making decent posts, instead of "LOL" and the multiple one-word posts that you were making earlier, before you were banned? I think that would be good enough to get your account back, instead of re-registering.
  13. Thanks for standing up to me on the internet. Takes some real balls to do that. Topic closed, account closed.
  14. Someone needs to tell Alston and Rush to stop shooting the ball. And Granger, also. And when will Lopez play defense? I can't believe they are at home and still struggling to beat a Pacers team that is watching Granger chuck bricks.
  15. Wade and the Heat are getting crushed. Didn't expect that with the Heat at home. Wade is also struggling.
  16. Wow, Maggette traveled. How surprising. Yama is going to be pissed.
  17. Aside from the breakdown by Cleveland, Hickson is doing surprisingly well. I know he's been playing good, but if you would've asked me this before the season started, I'd tell you he'd be a good piece to trade off.
  18. Kwame Brown is a good man-to-man defender. He's not the offensive player that many thought he was going to be right out of high school, but...does that make Kwame a bust? I don't know. Washington took him thinking he was going to be a great defensive AND offensive player. Doug Collins (who was coaching Washington) thought of Brown as someone who could step out of the paint and create shots for others, and Michael Jordan liked him for his versatility. I'm sorry, but any center coming out of high school at 19 will not be doing that immediately after being drafted, not even Dwight Howard. He should've went to Florida, like he had planned on doing...and I think that Jordan and the staff coached him the wrong way. Jordan wanted Hakeem Olajuwon, or else he was going to turn Kwame into him. That's not how it should've been. Michael Olowokandi is a bust. He no longer plays, and he was just a terrible player to have on the floor. He rarely shot over 44% from the floor, fouled constantly, turned the ball over numerous times despite having the ball in his hands all the time, bad defender who rarely rotated when necessary, and he couldn't stay healthy when given starter minutes...and this is a guy that came out of Pacific, putting up 22/11 on over 60% shooting his junior year. Big difference between the two players.
