Looked like his feet were still not set, plus he leaned in. Seemed like a charge at first, but replay made the block clear in my opinion.

Do the Heat even practice free throws? Maybe they need to bust out that machine they used earlier in the season that called out the angle of their shot. And I don't understand our shitty defense these past 2 games. We are allowing one of the worst offensive teams in the NBA shoot above 50% and over 100 points.

Yeah, seems that way. Just trading baskets at this point. Game seems over. Don't really see a comeback. Heat are settling for jumpers and not hitting their threes.

Terrible defense for the Heat right now. Late on rotations, leaving people on the perimeter open, failing to keep Garnett out of the post, etc. Giving up 55 points in 2 quarters is too much. Wade also needs to stop settling for jumpers, same for LeBron. He was hitting them early but has gone a bit cold. Heat's bench also needs to step up. Not looking too good for the Heat right now, but I hope they make a third quarter run as they have in the past few games.

Our bench yells it every possession, he's not even making an effort to get outside the paint at all.
Haha yeah, it's ridiculous. Not to mention the fouls he is already getting away with.

I'm surprised they decided to suspend Haslem. Either way, it will probably mean more minutes for Battier and LeBron at PF, which isn't too bad. Will probably mean more minutes for Miller and Jones as well. Hopefully Turiaf and Anthony can stay out of foul trouble.

The bad thing is that Pittman has played three minutes, one game, in the playoffs...before this game.
He has a total of 301 minutes in the regular season, 35 games.
How many minutes did he play tonight? Three.
So people are looking at this and wondering why he was in the game, and of course, they are going to think that someone (whether it was the team as a collective voice, or one of the starters, or even Howard) told him to go out there and elbow Lance Stephenson in the neck.
All I was reading on Twitter was, "Why was Pittman even in the game? Oh, THAT'S WHY."
The wink sure the hell didn't make anything better, and the fans cheering didn't help the situation, either.
As Flash said, it was garbage time in a 30 point blowout. Howard played less than 200 minutes in the regular season in 28 games. He's played in 3 games so far, 11 minutes total in the playoffs. Why was he in the game? Because it was garbage time. Spoelstra just emptied out the bench.

Agree with everything you said Real Deal. Pittman's wink just showed what a dirty play it really was.
