  1. It's more like the difference between being picked third and being picked fifth averages out to roughly a few million dollars extra, which could have been used for his buyout. I don't think he ever had a problem where he was going to be playing. I think his problem was that he really doesn't want to be playing basically for free for the next three seasons because his NBA earnings go towards his contract buyout with DKV Juventud. Smart financial move. His contract must expire in two seasons with DKV Juventud.
  2. It's either Hayes or Landry, not both. We got Ryan Anderson now too. I'd feel better if the Magic were looking for a replacement center to take Gortat's bench position.
  3. Nobody said that.. Looking at the combine results, their wingspans, I have to say are underwhelming. I saw them when they first came out and though exactly the same thing. Most players wingspans, in the NBA anyway, are about 4, maybe 5 inches longer than their bodies are. Both Griffin and Hansborough's wingspan is 6'11, meanwhile, they both stand about about 6'10. Just simply for that, they're both going to struggle a little more than usual in the post. There's too many long players in the NBA for them to be able to stop them consistently or be consistent defenders.
  4. I haven't written any myself, most likely because of my inability to be creative, but I'd like a chance to join up for this. Before OTR, I did a bit of work with some of the guys at NBADimensions on a few articles. We had planned for a lot more, but circumstances changed. Anyway, here's a few that we worked on together. Most of the ideas were the other guys, but the writing was almost purely all mine. I also feel that since then, I've improved as a writer: LINK ONE LINK TWO

I think I may be missing a few, but I've basically circled Europe + some extra countries.
  6. First person out of North America = me!! Brisbane, Queensland, Australia =D =D =D =D
  7. I have two jobs at the moment 1. I work as a supervisor/HOD of department as a clothing store called Trade Secret. We sell big brand names at lower prices than most and usually get huge, busy days. I work there for $11.75 an hour, and $19.00 on Sundays. 2. I do cleaning at an office near where I live two nights a week, four hours a night (although the job takes about an hour and a half to do) for $22.34 an hour.
  8. I'm stunned that we addressed the go-to offensive problems that were going to be created with Hedo's departure so quickly. I'm even happier that we gave away only Courtney Lee and Rafer Alston (and Tonie Battie, but does he even matter?) for Carter, and also got Ryan Anderson, who I absolutely loved, coming out of last year's Draft. It was a great trade for us!
  9. You're also inbred. lolol I'm agnostic or deist, I guess.
  10. I like Rasheed for what he can bring to the Magic. We didn't have many playoff experienced players (or any), which is the first area where Wallace can help out in. Secondly, he's always understood his role on a team and understands how to be a winner. He also understands that he can't do as much as he used to be able to do. Though Bass might be the more attractive answer with the whole 'potential' thing working his was (when did we all become obsessed with that word?), what the Magic need right now is someone who knows the ropes, who's been to the big stage before and who can mentor our team and still provide leadership and be productive on the court. Plus, he fits into the Magic system perfectly.
