  1. Haha, ok I know he's probably not really going to demand a trade. Buy you never know with Bosh.
  2. Right now, Washington has got the best chance and is looking like they're going to get him. at 1-12, they don't look like they can beat anyone other then us. Although us being 1-9 in our last 10 is a good sign. i'd say the favourites are Washington, New Orleans, Toronto, Charlotte and Detroit. Although I seem to forget sometimes that in the NBA, the draft lottery is pretty crazy and as long as we finish in the bottom 5 we have a solid chance at getting the #1 pick.
  3. I think it would have to be like a top 7 or 8 for Lowry to be involved. He's really breaking out this year but those 5 guys on the list all deserve a spot over him, and Westbrook could arguably be on the list.
  4. You guessed right. He's a good player, but he is also a baby. I think he's going to get tired of not getting the ball in Miami and ask for a trade. It might depend on if they win a championship this year or not.
  5. Like what JYD said, when I've watched him play I seem to notice he forces a lot of shots. His turnover numbers are very high as well. I have no doubt that Monta is an allstar-caliber player and is extremely talented, but I am not convinced he's that much under rated.
  6. Lol, nice. Ever since Bargnani has started his Primo pasta adds everyone has made jokes about it
  7. I'm a bit surprised that the GM's think Boston will win the Atlantic. I'd think New York or Philly maybe.
  8. hahahahha I love it. Looks about right. I was a little confused when I saw the title of the thread. lol
  9. I do think this could start to be a problem. I'm not too worried about "non star" players like Cousins starting a trend of any player being able to dictate where they play. Cousins isn't a very good example because he's a bit of a head case.
  10. Though I love Westbrook, I think Deron Williams probably will/should make it over him. And I wasn't much of a basketball fan during the last summer olympics, and I don't watch any basketball outside north america so i'm just wondering, what exactly do you guys mean by the "international game"? How is it any different then NBA play?
  11. In the east I think the Knicks might pull off a deal at the deadline to put them into the running for a championship. In the west I think the thunder and clippers are my front runners right now, and the Lakers might be if they pull off a deal for Dwight.
  12. Now Derozan is going to be our top offensive threat for the next couple games. Hopefully this will be a spark he needs to get out of his slump. If it isn't then god help us we're in for some bad games. Unless Barbosa can play like he did against the Kings.
  13. Ok, I think your getting a little carried away here. Though I rarely watch college basketball until March madness, i've seen enough to know his jumper isn't as bad as Rondo's.
  14. I say if possible we trade him for the highest offer if he keeps up this stellar play. And if we don't get any great offers then we keep him and try to work him into the rebuild. Only problem I see is that a lot of the top players in the draft this year are PF's, and if we end up with the #1-3 pick and we pick Drummond or Anthony Davis then we have Bargnani, Ed Davis, Amir (also plays center though) and Davis/Drum. Someone would have to go, and i'd be most interested in trading Barg. Drummond or Anthony Davis are more the kind of PF I want to build my team around.
  15. If Bargnani can continue to play at something close to a Dirk type level then this team will not be a bottom dweller this year.
  16. I don't know much about him, but I guess it's a good thing that we're adding an experienced person to our team to help scout.
  17. I'm a bit late but I just want to say I was very impressed by Amir Johnson's ability to defend Kevin Love all game long. He really shut him down and that was what won us the game. Not to mention him getting 19 points. Bargnani was also very good putting up 31 points. The only problem I saw was Derozan again appeared a bit shaky. Hopefully he bounces back soon.
  18. Well it's good to hear that Bargnani had a solid night rebounds wise.
  19. Derozans consistency has been a problem so far in the season. I hope he can grow out ouf it soon, because when he plays bad, Barg needs to basically put the team on his back offensively, and that's something he can't really do. I'm also assuming Bargnani was getting out rebounded all game, which does not help.
  20. Oh no doubt if your going to get Millsap to take over for Pau than that is a huge win for the Lakers. But It wouldn't be easy to get him and Dwight without giving up more then Gasol and Bynum. It's a no brainer that Dwight is such a huge pickup defensively and he alone would be such a huge pick up. It's hard to say if Howard is enough to make the Lakers better if they have to give up both Gasol and Bynum though. But looking at this years draft even, there are quite a few good powerforwards that if they keep their first rounder they could get someone to replace Gasol then.
  21. I 100% agree with you on trading Barbosa. He has been a solid enough player for us this year coming off the bench, but Derozan is our SG of the future. We need to get something for Barbosa before it's too late. I'd love if we could get a 1st round pick, and possibly be able to draft a SF and a PG in the draft.
  22. In my opinion, the Lakers would be nuts to trade Bynum AND Gasol for Howard. I know Dwight is obviously a superstar, but I think They could get someone they need more for Gasol and still be able to keep Bynum, who is such a dominant player.
