  1. Ummm...that's absolutely ridiculous. Kid is 21 years old and averaging 11/9/5 and 2.5 steals as a rookie. The biggest weakness in his game, shooting, is one of the easiest things a player can improve on. He's got good length for a PG, decent quickness, great court vision, a good rebounder, a very good defender, and early on he has hit a number of clutch shots.

Again, he's a 21 year old rookie. He'll improve. To say otherwise, barring an injury, is crazy.

I don't get why I am ridiculous. Calderon had similar stats in his prime.

  2. I'm aware that both players give no benefit with the exception of veteran experience, but Marbury was a fine player back in the day. With a slick jumper, driving capabilities and the ability to pass, he was pretty good. Francis' career just wen't into NBA purgatory after his horrifically bad Knick campaign, regardless of my personal opinion on the Knicks, something was fishy. Some people say Francis was weak minded and needed Cuttino to excel. Who knows.

  3. Year You Became a Fan: 2008.

Why You Became a Fan: I enjoyed watching them play the game so fundamentally.

Favorite Spurs Player, All-Time: God, uh - I'll go with Duncan, but I love Parker and Bowen.

    Favorite Spurs Coach, All-Time: Pop.

Favorite Spurs Moment: That I have witnessed? Manu's buzzer vs the Bucks last year was awe inspiring to see.

Amount of Spurs Games Attended: Zero, I'm not from Texas therefore I can't attend a game. :(

  4. Dallas might not have the required cap space to acquire a player like Deron who wouldn't refrain from walking out on a low-ball deal. Los Angeles is a probably destination via trade, however the chances of that are somewhat slim. New York is an intriguing prospect, with pretty decent space and in dyer need of someone to facilitate the offense under D'Antoni. Would Amar'e clash with Deron? Melo's scoring would take a dip too. Chemistry is a problem in New York.

  5. The Lakers are sitting ducks right now. They're literally letting possible proposals go down without barging in with a counter, because if I'm Orlando I would grab Amar'e and grab Nash in the off-season. There's no reason why the Knicks would decline a trade like this, giving them a defensive stopper and a franchise big man. The only question remaining is if Dwight would be willing to stay in New York and buy into the system.

  6. Without Bowen, we wouldn't have one as many championships during our run. Bowen's obedience between his coach and Tim Duncan really set him apart as a defensive specialist. You can assign Bowen to any player in the league today, and Bowen would lock them down tight pretty decently! He did try some sneaky, underhanded tricks, but his legacy is as a leader and a role-player for a dynasty.
