Well this is the second week in a row the Pats have been involved in what was supposed to be the best game of the week and they end up blowing the other team away. Best team in football by far.
-
I'm going to say the Texans losing because they probably had the best shot out of the three teams mentioned to hold on and win the game. The Skins shouldn't have been in that position anyways, and the Bills were lucky to even stay close with the Steelers. They simply caught them on a bad day.

Sheridan: Melo Will Only Accept Extension With NYK
AboveLegit replied to Teletopez's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
How do you figure to sign Chris Paul in 2 years with Melo and Amare on the roster already with their max contracts, especially considering this can only happen after the new Collective Bargaining Agreement? If they get Melo, their chances of getting Chris Paul or any other superstar will probably be reduced to 0%. We don't know what the cap is going to be like next offseason but if Amare and Melo are taking up $35-40 million of it every year there won't be a lot of wiggle room. That's why the CBA is so important. There are going to be major changes in the new agreement and that was before the Heat pulled off what they did. There probably won't be a mid-level exception or the exceptions they do have will be much smaller. And the salary cap will most likely be significantly smaller. Owners are going to push really hard to reward teams that drafted players and prevent Gm's from building superteams like Riley did this past summer. -

Your articles are everywhere Erick! I was just about to post yet another topic, but you seemed to have beat me to it. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/orlando-magic/os-magic-schmitz-nba-1212-20101212,0,264304,full.column So the question is, should they trade Gortat in a package (with possibly Carter) for a proven scorer? After reading your article on the Magic, I think it seems pretty obvious that they should... I think that part of your article best summarizes where they stand in the league. They are one or two pieces away in my opinion (despite their success in previous years). http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=24dfnax Throw in a Orlando first rounder this year, and I think Philly would accept.. They clear cap space (Carter has a team option for next year) and receive a couple of prospects in Anderson and Orton. Orlando gets a good sidekick to Howard who can slash and be an extra ball-handler to Nelson. At this point, Iguodala would flourish in Orlando with Howard, Nelson, and Lewis there. He's basically an uber-talented carter at this point. Not to mention they get another capable three point shooter.

His performance today is easily worse than what Suisham pulled last year.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhovxwaZ4VY so yeah, I think it's safe to say he's gone.

Was about to post a topic regarding Tyreke's struggles to start the season, but this article does a great job describing his weaknesses and flaws, nice job Erick. Right now he's shooting 2-10 from the field against the Heat for 5 points. He just hasn't developed any consistency on either end of the court, and it's showing up on the statsheet. He's shooting under 40% from the field and under 30% from three. There's basically a decline in ever major statistical category from last year, other than turnovers per game...

Michael Jordan trying to acquire Carmelo
AboveLegit replied to magicbalala245's topic in Charlotte Hornets Team Forum
Stupid, stupid move. Even with Melo they are not a contender in the East... Jordan isn't saving their season by trading away his best assets for a guy that won't be with them after this season. -
I don't think they'll come to an agreement with everything being mentioned, I just believe the Player's Union will eventually cave. Too many players don't have enough money saved. They can't go without a paycheck for more than 5-6 months. We'll probably be seeing another 50 game season.

Rockets Looking at Anthony Randolph
AboveLegit replied to htown11's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
He was unlucky with injuries in Golden State too, but he was never given a chance - in the rare cases that he was, he performed well for someone so raw. I think he could really use a mentor, Nelson and now D'Antoni aren't great coaches to play under when you're young and developing, especially with the way they use their rotations. When he's comfortable and gets some time, he'll be a very decent player. This kid is in the mold of JeVale McGee, he's an athletic freak with loads of potential. As much of a believer I am of Randolph, the Rockets should have no business dealing away their pick or dealing for Randolph. -
Looks like Wall decided to play. Good play by Kirk to end the first.

Just got traded to the Knicks. Fifth seed in the East but only 5 games back of the Magic, with 30 or so games left in the season. Currently rated 53, averaging around 18PPG and 6APG.
-
Worst part is, ever since this incident, people view him as a locker room cancer and a "bad guy".
-
Great play designed by Doc, unbelievable finish. I thought for sure that Pierce would get the rock.

Your favorite WWE/F wrestlers?
AboveLegit replied to Dash's topic in MMA, Wrestling and Boxing Forum
I used to love WWE a few years ago, was a pretty big fan I might add. My favorite all time: 1. The Rock- He knew how to put on a show, had the best mic skills I've ever came across. the rock in 2000 was incredible, i could watch that guy all night, he delivered week in and week out, also the ppv's that year were all great 2. Stone Cold- Funny as hell, loved his feuds with The Rock. 3. Kurt Angle- Best all around guy ever imo- mic skills (sensational as a heel), amazing wrestler, entertainer. Pretty much perfect. 4. Chris Jericho- Amazing mic skills, good overall wrestler, actually knows what he's doing in the ring. 5. Shawn Michaels- Was arguably the man who carried the WWF into the attitude era at his peak. -
Read the rest of the article here. Pretty funny article, just Ron being Ron.

UPDATE: Kyrie Irving Out for Rest of Season?
AboveLegit replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in General NCAA Discussion
They still have plenty of talent, but they'll need guys like Curry and Dawkins to really step up. -
Wall is probably going to miss the game....
-
Terrible, terrible performance once again on the road. Wall needs to rest for a week or two, I'm tired of seeing him constantly being a gametime decision. Just sit him out till he's 100%.
