Just got drafted by the Pistons in the second round, rated 40 overall. -_-

PG- Thabo Seflosha SG- Kobe Bryant SF- Gerald Wallace PF- Reggie Evans C- Joel Pryzbilla Sixth Man- Hedo Turkoglu I would say Dwight Howard instead of Reggie Evans for the Rodman comparison, but I think that maybe too much. Dwight is a much better offensive player. I think Rodman's game resembles Reggie Evans, it's just that he's just simply better, but I couldn't find a better comparison. The Ron Harper comparison is interesting. He was never a true PG, it always seemed like they started 2 SG's and had Jordan and Pippen run the offense. They were a tough defensive backcourt, so Thabo and Kobe fits the comparison well. As for Pippen-Wallace comparison, it's the best I can think of. No one comes close to Pippen, it's probably the hardest comparison to make. You can say LeBron, but that's going too far since LBJ is just too good.

I remember doing this before (not sure if it was here), but I basically take historical teams from the past and post a topic asking members to recreate that starting five+sixth man with current NBA players. PG- Ron Harper SG- Michael Jordan SF- Scottie Pippen PF- Dennis Rodman C- Luc Longley Sixth Man- Toni Kukoc

He was a gametime decision last night and is listed day to day. Our next game is tomorrow in Detroit, I expect him to play. EDIT: http://twitter.com/#!/MrMichaelLee/status/6098162913640448 Fml.

Your team's most surprising and disappointing player
AboveLegit replied to *Swish*'s topic in General NBA Discussion
Disappointing: Andray Blatche Over dribbles, mentality of a guard, doesn't know how big he is, doesn't go in the paint as much, soft, complains too much, lazy on defense, basically everything he did last year... Surprising: Al Thornton People used to think he was one dimensional, but he's really improved his game and has matured. He's a good rebounder, plays very physical in the paint, and is a good defender. Not to mention he has a nice midrange game and doesn't force anything on offense. -
John Wall, it's amazing how he's able to rack up assists with the lack of talent we have on this roster. He's incredible on the fastbreak, is an instant game changer, and his jump shot isn't as bad as people say it is. I said at the beginning of the season that Blake Griffin would win ROY, but right now, I'd definitely give the edge to John.

Peja, Bayless to TOR for Jack, Andersen, Banks

Bayless hasn't done much in New Orleans, and Stojakovic is garbage, so in essence, they're getting a backup PG who can also play at the 2 in Jarrett Jack. They also get an extra big man, and are able to go under the luxury tax. Every move made by the new management in New Orleans have worked out well for them, so I trust them. It's pretty obvious the Hornets are doing this to save money. They save around $5 mill making this deal and get a quality guard in return. -
Didn't see the game, but looks like we came through in the fourth. Gil and Hinrich had a nice night scoring the ball, good to see.

IMO I think Method Man is lyrically as good as any member of Wu Tang. He probably has the best flow out of any of them, and one of the best deliveries. He combines excellent lyrical skills with a great personality on the mic, something that isn't done too often. Probably the most complete rapper/MC in the group. But this is such a hard topic to discuss because every member in this group is so damn good, which is exactly why they are the greatest rap group ever. It's all based on personal preference.

Apparently Skip Bayless thinks so... http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5817181 For anyone who hasn't seen the commercial, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBnYFU5N6C0 I see nothing wrong with this, and I don't understand how this is even a concern. It just seems like Skip has an unpopular opinion on everything just to get himself attention.

You can take Chris Bosh from last year if you feel the need to.. I think this is a pretty close comparison. Who's the better player?
-
As much as I hate to say it, the favorites gotta be Duke by far. Scheyer was very good but Seth Curry and Irving more than make up for it, Smith and Singler are one year older and have the championship experience under their belts, and Mason Plumlee should see massive improvement with more playing time.

Greg Oden to miss rest of season
AboveLegit replied to Lkr's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
Wow. Both the Blazers and Oden just can't catch a break. I was looking forward to seeing him play. -
Where Are You Attending/Or Going To Attend College?

College Park next year. -
I have a feeling Selby will be staying in Kansas for the next 2-3 years. He comes off as the type of player who wants to win, and he seems pretty dedicated to the program. I see a lot more Garnett in Perry Jones than the Tmac or the Durant comparisons. He's bulked up and is going to be asked to play a lot in the post this season, especially without Udoh being there. We'll see but even if you watched Garnett and Bosh in high school, they were spending a lot of time on the perimeter since they were also quicker than anybody they faced. And BFT, I guess I got caught up with potential, and forgot what the thread really asked for.

I remember a scout saying Barnes is probably the most skilled offensive player we've seen since Carmelo Anthony at that age. He has a great work ethic and I'm sure his talents will translate to the NBA. After Barnes it's probably Perry Jones. After Jones, I'll go with Kyrie Irving. The NBA is geared towards PG's now, he's just the kind of dynamic guard that can get anywhere he wants on the floor.
-
BTW, Rondo had more assists than our whole team.... He had 13 while we had 12.
-
Uhmmm....yeah... I don't know where to begin with my analysis, so I'll just say we played pretty bad.

Take your time, I like seeing my username on top.

No John Wall again tonight

Overrated?

Good win for us, Booker and Hilton played good and brought some energy off the bench. Nick had a great day shooting, very efficient with the ball.
