Le'Ron McClain spits on Channing Crowder
AboveLegit replied to Cobb's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
This is also the same guy who said he didn't know there were any black people in London. (Link) Derrick Mason's comments were great. -
Please get rid of Baron. Bledsoe has all the tools needed to be successful in this league. PT and confidence is the only thing holding him back. No one can make a case for keeping Baron on this team. Bledsoe will at least maintain a good work ethic because he wants to get better, and that's a much better alternative than what you would get with Baron at this point, especially for a team that's pushing for another high lotto pick.

LOL. I'm loving every second of this.
-
What a throw by Rodgers and what a catch by Jennings.
-
Whoa, KD with a tech, has he ever got one?
-
Defense is pretty bad, they are allowing 106 points a game.
-
Very surprised Doc didn't call a timeout at all during that run, the Celtics were playing terrible the last 4 minutes of the quarter.
-
Celtics cannot miss. Their offense looks great out there.
-
What a pass by Campbell. Good win for the Raiders.
-
Great shot by Nate, wow. Celtics playing some great defense, making KD work for every shot.
-
I had a feeling Asante would pick off Manning, I just knew it. [expletive].
-
Actually the exact opposite. -_-
-
Bench looking good for the Celtics so far, end of first qtr.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I understand your side of the argument completely, but I just want to see the league be a little more careful about what they call, and am pretty tired of all these injuries affecting the decisions of refs.
-
I'm arguing that the call was BS and the rule should be re-evaluated. There's a difference between a defender leading with his helmet and intentionally hitting someone and a defender leading with his shoulder. The league cannot be throwing the flag every time something goes wrong.
-
Why not? Did it not lead to an eventual Colts TD? That fumble could have been huge for the Eagles, and a huge momentum changer for the Colts going into the half.
-
You guys aren't getting it. Yeah it was helmet to helmet, but what could the defender do about it? You can't penalize someone for trying to make a play on the ball, that's just not right.
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kufy7Q1FVSA So it was a helmet to helmet hit. The problem is though the defensive player wasn't leading with his helmet or trying to use it in an aggressive way. The first hit on Collie caused him to spin and him turning caused what would have been a shoulder-to-shoulder hit into helmet contact. You can't hold defensive players responsible for that kind of play, if you do you may as well make a rule that no contact is allowed above the waist.

Giants are the best team in the NFC.

Idk man it seemed to me like the Philly defender got Collie with his shoulder, not his helmet. I'll probably have to see it a few times, but from the replays that I did see, it looked like a clean hit. And how do the refs call Collie defenseless? Complete BS there if you ask me, he was running with the ball clearly in his possession. I really hope Collie is ok and this is all precautionary, but that being said, that was a clean hit and a turnover that they just wiped out. I honestly don't care because it's the Eagles and any time a call goes against them I laugh, but as a fan of the game in general, that was a clean play.
-
I think the hit was clean. I didn't see helmet to helmet. Just a hard tackle. The Eagles bench is livid. Also, that looks like that was, indeed, a fumble. As much as I hate to say it, the Eagles got hosed on that call.

McNabb threw for over 400 yards against the Texans...yeah they're secondary is terrible.
-
Makes me feel a little better about losing to the Lions last week.
-
Manning is also known to run his own offense and does a better job developing his receivers.
