http://dc.sbnation.com/washington-wizards/2011/2/9/1984673/lebron-james-cleveland-cavaliers-washington-wizards LeBron is completely right. If Nick Young doesn't drop 40, I will be disappointed.... Jk, just get this win....please...I will stab myself if we don't.

Happy Bday Legacy.

Come on Tar Heels, I want to see Harrison Barnes aggressive right from the tip and have a monster game.

Ouch, Indiana had the game and completely blew it. Bron with another monster, MVP like performance. The man is incredible.

What player in the NBA would u start a franchise with?
AboveLegit replied to Abro's topic in Player Comparisons
I agree with LeBron being first, but I wouldn't say he's too far ahead of Griffin. The things Blake is already capable of doing is just stunning, he hardly has a back to the basket game now and is averaging above 20PPG. 1. LeBron 2. Blake 3. Durant 4. Howard 5. Rose Howard and Durant are interchangeable. -
Hornets Have Interest In Jamison
AboveLegit replied to The Regime's topic in New Orleans Pelicans Team Forum
Wouldn't be too bad seeing him come off the bench, but depending on how much playing time he gets, I wonder how much he effects one of the best defenses in the league. -
There's two sides to this deal if you're the Lakers. For one, they're a team that just won back to back titles, do you really want to break up that core and change the chemistry of the team? Is it really necessary to go into panic mode because your not winning games in the meaningless regular season? I repped Flash's post earlier, but it just hit me, size doesn't really matter as much as it used to. There are many stretches throughout the game where Boston's only defense is fouling, it happened a ton in game 7 last year, and it happened when they last met this season (Shaq had 5 fouls in 15 mins..). The league isn't what it used to be, defense is now more predicated on the team itself with a zone, and Boston is one of the worst teams when it comes to points in the paint since they're all jumpshooters for the most part. In a seven game series, a frontcourt of Gasol, Odom, and Melo would be more than enough. As for Denver, it's a very risky move considering what they're leaving on the table in New Jersey and New York. Bynum's health is always a question mark, and one can make the argument that Favors or Chandler are much better pieces to build around. Not to mention keeping Melo in the Western Conference would only be a bad thing for them. I don't see this happening, but it's a deal worth thinking about.

Ray Allen. This should be a great contest, every player on that list deserves to be in although I wish they had added in Anthony Morrow.

Yeah I switched to Chrome from Firefox about a month ago, haven't looked back since. Other than images popping up kind of slow, I'm liking it.

Super Bowl XLV: Pittsburgh vs. Green Bay
AboveLegit replied to Real Deal's topic in NFL Gameday Archives
He was 24-39 with over 300 yards and 3 TD's, that is impressive regardless of what secondary you're up against. Not to mention he did it without Driver for a good portion of the game. -

You're not looking at the bigger picture here. He didn't make one mistake out there. Had he made even one, I think Pittsburgh would've capitalized and probably would have changed the momentum of the game. -

Without throwing a pick? That isn't impressive in the biggest game of the year? His numbers could have been even better had he not been the victim of several drops by his wide receivers. -

Super Bowl XLV: Pittsburgh vs. Green Bay

What a great game, congrats Packer fans! Can't wait till next year when Goodell is handing the Super Bowl trophy to Dan Snyder, and he proceeds by auctioning it off to the highest bidder. Just an incredible season for GB, no Jermichael Finley or Ryan Grant (among many others), and no Charles Woodson and Donald Driver in the SB, yet they pull out the win. What a resilient football team, props to them. Their showing this season and in the playoffs gives pause to people who constantly use injuries as an excuse, they had more than their fair share yet they still prevailed. -
Durant, but good comparison. With so many great up and coming PG's in the league currently, (and some in the NCAA who will soon make the jump), you gotta go with KD. Since both of the players do different things, they're going to dominate the game in different ways (assuming they both reach their potential), so really you can only make the judgment on who the better player at the moment (or who shows the biggest level of improvement), and since Durant is one step ahead of Rose IMO in their development, Durant has to be considered the better player at the moment with higher known ceiling. This might change as time wears on, but like I said earlier, this kind of discussion doesn't really favor Rose because his potential is a lot more speculative than that of Durant's.

Great game for the Terps, we have now won 4 of the last 5 games, and Gary Williams ties John Wooden on the all time ACC wins list. Jordan with a dominating performance, he truly is getting better and better each game. He's improving his FT's and just looks so much more comfortable in the paint. Great to see. Pe'shon Howard had a terrific game as well, he made some amazing passes.
-
A bit of both, I'd say more than half cheered for him, while the rest booed. Either way, JJ Redick got booed harder than anyone. [expletive] Duke. Anyways, another lackluster performance, very frustrating night for John, and he got kicked out of the game with 2 tech's late in the fourth (jawing at the official).

Stern selects Love to replace Yao
AboveLegit replied to Real Deal's topic in NBA All-Star Weekend Archives
Thank God, it truly would have been a travesty if he didn't make it. -
The only person he deserves it over is Duncan, but if we're going to replace Duncan with anyone, it's Kevin Love without a doubt. If he doesn't get picked by Stern, it will be a travesty. (I saw on Twitter that Nash is the most likely to get the nod).
