  2. It's about time the Wizards got a win. This team is poorly constructed and desperately needs some new management.
  3. Nene returned to the line up off the bench Wednesday against Atlanta. Randy Wittman said he would monitor his minutes closely. Nene has been sufferring from plantar facitis from 11 months before the Wizards traded for him.
  4. EVERYONE in Wizards management should be fired, starting with Ernie Grunfeld. What a failure of a gm!
  5. WASHINGTON, D.C. –Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has signed free agent guard Shaun Livingston. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released. "We are obviously familiar with what Shaun brings both on and off the court based on his previous time here and we’re confident that he will be a positive addition to our team," said Grunfeld. “His size and playmaking ability will give us more flexibility in the backcourt." Livingston (6-7, 175) was originally selected by the Los Angeles Clippers with the fourth overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft out of Peoria Central High School in Illinois. He appeared in 26 games (18 starts) with the Wizards in 2009-10, averaging 9.2 points, 4.5 assists and 2.2 rebounds. In seven seasons with Los Angeles, Miami, Oklahoma City, Washington, Charlotte and Milwaukee, the 27-year old holds career averages of 6.8 points, 3.5 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 22.6 minutes per game while shooting .460 from the field and .778 from the line. He has appeared in 12 career playoff games (all with Los Angeles during the 2005-06 campaign), averaging 7.5 points, 4.8 assists and 4.7 rebounds in 27.6 minutes. Last season with Milwaukee, Livingston appeared in 58 games, including 27 starts, and averaged 5.5 points, 2.1 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 18.8 minutes per contest. He spent the 2012-13 preseason with Houston, appearing in four games and averaging 2.5 points and 3.3 assists in 13.8 minutes. The Wizards have also waived Jannero Pargo. He appeared in seven games while averaging 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 14.6 minutes. The Wizards roster now stands at 15.
  6. Lebron and Dwight are definitely superstars, it depends who you ask about Melo.
  7. Every time AI talked people listened. I wonder if Lebron has ever seen this?!
  8. This really sucks, Nene is hurt too. Our playoff hopes were not that high to begin with. Plus, this is a huge season for Wall.
  9. Wizards: 1. Will John Wall take the leap into becoming an NBA All Star? His jumper really needs to improve. 2. Is Bradley Beal worthy of the #3 pick? He does everything pretty well on the court, but he doesn't have one great attribute. 3. Will Nene stay heathy long enough for the Wizards to make a run at the 8th seed? No Nene, no playoffs imo. He should have skipped the Olympics. Rest of NBA: 1. Nash/Howard effect ok Lakers. 2. Who is the best team in NY? D-Will/Joe Johnson will be hard to stop. 3. NBA Rookies: Is D. Lillard the next great pg? Is Anthony Davis as good as the 'experts' say?
  10. Lol, I remember people saying he can't be trusted because he's Nigerian. I hope he does well.
  11. Hopefully he can stay healthy, we need a shooter.
  12. Austin Rivers could probably make the 3rd All Cocky team.
  13. Still not impressive. He just needs to worry about getting BETTER, next season will be a no excuse year. Westbrook or Irving would have washed these high schoolers. Kobe beat a high schooler 100-0.
  14. First of all this is embarrassing, 2nd of all when will John Wall learn? Pick up games against non NBA competition in the summer is useless... I want to see what this kid does in college.
  15. East: 1. Heat 2. Sixers 3. Celtics 4. Pacers 5. Nets 6. Knicks 7. Bucks 8. Wizards Last: Bobcats West: 1. Thunder 2. Lakers 3. Spurs 4. Nuggets 5. Clippers 6. Grizzlies 7. Mavs 8. Kings Last: Warriors (more injuries)
  16. I remember when the Southeast division was good. The Heat will run away with it every year in the near future.
  17. Calderon isn't even the best pg on the Raptors. Lol. New poll. Jennings/Ellis could be on the list.
  18. I'm just going with the team that has won before, the Nets still have a lot to prove.
  19. I like some of the Kings young players, but they never seem like they can put it together. Curry/Bogut have to stay healthy for the Warriors to improve and It seems like there are too many variables for the Hornets to win 20+ more games.
  20. Pg- Wall Sg- Beal/Crawford Sf- Ariza Pf- Nene C- Okafor
  21. The Wizards make the playoffs as an 8th seed, and loose to the Heat to 7 games. John Wall drastically improves his jumper and becomes an All Star. Damian Lillard runs away with the Rookie of the Year race. Jeremy Lamb has a 40 point game. Andray Blatche becomes a major contributer on a playoff team. Kobe Bryant calls out Antawn Jamison for shooting too much. Javale McGee wins most improved player. Kevin Durant wins his 1st MVP award.
  22. WASHINGTON, D.C. - Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has signed free agent guard A.J. Price. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released. "A.J. is an experienced and dependable player who fits in well with the mix of proven veterans and young players we have on our roster," said Grunfeld. “Adding him will help to bring depth to our backcourt rotation." Price (6-1, 185) holds career averages of 6.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.5 rebounds in 150 games over three seasons with Indiana. He was originally selected by the Pacers in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2009 NBA Draft out of the University of Connecticut. Price averaged 3.9 points and 2.0 assists in 44 games last season. He has appeared in nine career playoff games, averaging 4.9 points (including 8.4 points over five games during the 2011 NBA Playoffs).
