CB4 is in the building! I hope Bosh gives a salute or something or gets a standing ova, something nice to remember him by. Lol the Knicks are making Bargnani look so good. Hopefully next year Demar can replace some of the FT attempts we lose from Bosh, he gets to the line alot.

If we lose Bosh in the off-season we better at least keep Amir.

Sonny is pretty good, way better than we could have imagined, he is a good perimeter defender and his mid range game is really good. Demar is 4 years younger but Sonny is definitely better right now and more polished, and that can be attributed to experience mostly imo, I think a future wing combo of those two is pretty bright when compared to what we have seen in the wing for the past half a decade. I think Sonny has a future in the NBA after seeing what he has done for us this year, he has game. I am still on the fence about Demar, when he is in the game a lot of the time he is just kind there. Hopefully both guys work their asses off this summer because they will both be getting a lot of run if Bosh leaves, that is a lot of shots that will be available, so hopefully these guys can step up. I think a Sonny/Demar SF/SG combo could be our future, and I am pretty happy with that considering who we are used to seeing there, two athletic swing men on the Toronto Raptors O_O

I am not talking about the quality of the show, the show has been awesome, but viewership is on a steady decline each passing season. They struggle to get much more than 7M viewers these days. Wow the site I am on might be totally wrong, because Wiki has it with it's highest viewers of all the seasons, like you said.... my mistake if true.

Ya Steve Carrell signed for 7 seasons when the show began so that explains the extra season.... NBC's ratings overall have been horrible this year so even though The Office's ratings haven't been spectacular they are still one of their top shows. I can't imagine them going past the 7th season unless Carrell is up for it, I don't know about everyone else's contractual situation, but I am happy they are on for another season.

Monta is way more skilled and athletic, I think Martin is really overrated a lot of the time, he is a chucker. I think Monta, if utilized correctly, can be a useful player in just about any system, it is obvious he thrives in a Golden State type of open court system, but he is really talented and is a 20 point player no matter where he plays. People say Monta is a product of a [expletive]ty team and system, but he is shooting 45% on taking that many shots which is very respectable, I think he is a great player and Martin is just solid.

You knew it wasn't going to be called Relapse 2, that was always the working title.... I heard the name 'King Mathers' going around but recovery is a lot better of a title, hopefully a transition of his subject matter.

I think it is more of him just acquiring players who want to be here approach. Euros just want to play here and don't discriminate against Canada like American players typically do.

Looking at the team stats the Dwight Howard is the defensive player of the year hands down, his team has the best opponent FG% and they give up bottom 5 PPG in the league. He can't stop anyone one on one? Well if that is the case he is finding other ways to be dominant defensively since the Magic are not littered with elite defenders (Shard at PF? VC? Nelson? No....), he is the anchor on arguably the best defensive team in the NBA. Unless I am missing something, which I definitely could be since I don't really look into team stats all that much, those are the two biggest things to measure a team's defense. Dwight is the anchor defensively on one of the best defensive teams in the league, he has the stats to back it up as well. Dwight can't 'stop' Yao? Okay, Battier or Thabo can't stop Kobe either so I fail to see your point (no Yao=/= Kobe of big men but the point remains). Great players can't 'stop' each other. On the defensive end of the floor Dwight affects the game more often than anyone in the league and that is why he deserves this award.

It doesn't really matter who he plays face up each night, he is the reason the Magic are winning close to 60 games this year and the reason he is so dominant ISN'T his offense. I just don't know who I would put ahead of him. Camby was the only guy who was as intimidating as D12 in the paint recently but Camby is about 3 years past being able to protect the hole the way Dwight does. KG was a great post defender as well but he is done now. Yes changing shots and blocking shots is a Center's job, but none of them do it as efficiently and well as Dwight. Let's not forget how often the Magic play Shard at the 4, so Dwight is basically battling in the post by himself, he is a machine on the boards. Oden is the only player who I picture contending with Dwight for the next 5-8 years for this award TBH.
