No one will ever win 6 rings again in the NBA so if 6 rings is required to be on MJ's level, no one will be.

I wonder if the Lakers say any of the things that they say to the media, to each other. Pau, Odom and Kobe specifically.

He will get a Luol Deng type of contract IMO. 5/50, maybe 5/60 if he goes to RFA and some idiot team (Knicks lol) overpay for him.

I love the make-up of this team. Other franchises should take note *cough* Knicks *cough*. Building through the draft and adding complimentary pieces via FA is the way to build a good young team. OKC should offer the 5/80 off the bat, no question, get this kid locked the hell up.

This team is as talented as any team in the NBA, and Dirk is one of the toughest matchups in the NBA. Now he has an actual banger alongside him who can play 30+ minutes in Haywood, this team is a threat to win it all, easily. This team is definitely better, even if they don't make the finals they are still better, no question about it.

Knicks do not have their first rounders this year unprotected, then the following 2 years conditionally with the Rockets. This team is in the biggest hole in the entire NBA if they don't land LBJ/Bosh/Wade.

TNA was pretty sick last night.

The entire team is shooting [expletive] %'s right now. Kobe has been pretty much pathetic as of late as well though. Shooting over 45% once over the stretch of 9 games is absolutely inexcuseable for a player of Kobe Bryant's stature, especially when he is insistent on taking 20 shots a game. I am just looking at some game logs here, and since the start of March (small sample size since I don't wanna look past there since I am lazy), the Lakers are undefeated when Kobe takes less than 20 shots. All their losses in March and beyond he has taken over 20 shots, save the games he missed of course. I know some of you hate Pau, but his points are valid.

Barnes is a beast, I love seeing guys (more specifically role players) go at the untouchable players in the NBA once in a while. Don't look now but the Mavs are 3 games back of the Lakers.

Mavericks easily, like I thought, this move has probably vaulted them into a legitimate threat against the Lakers, they have a ton of talent and a ton of depth, they have the pieces for a deep playoff run, hopefully they can do it. You can determine the Cavaliers come playoff time, since this team was winning 60+ with or without Jamison. They acquired him for the playoffs, not the season.

Just waive Baron Davis and that team would be awesome.

I don't think LeBron would be able to be on a team where there was question whether or not he is the best player on the team or not. I think he wants to start his own legacy, not add onto someone else's (Kobe). Besides, he wants to win? The Cavaliers are first in the NBA right now and considered favourites to win the NBA championship, so I don't see how he can 'want' to win when he already is. It would be epic for so many reasons if he went to the Clippers though.

The Magic and Celtics are definitely contenders and both teams have a shot at beating the Lakers if they made the finals. Don't let these inconsistent stretches fool you, the Magic and Celtics still both have as much talent as is needed to win an NBA championship, they just need to put it together in time for the playoffs. But after acquiring Jamison, the Cavaliers should be the 1A favourites in the East, if they weren't already.

I can't tell if he is joking or not...? Anyways yeah that kid is pretty good, he still doesn't play a full 48 minutes though, but when he played the Raptors he turned it on in the 2nd half and we couldn't stop him.

Jack was the best and most surprising signing, who knew he would be out starting PG at this point? He is a lot better shooter than I thought, he is just a really solid player.

We definitely should re-sign Amir if the price is right, hopefully no one comes in and offers him a 4 year MLE or something. We can afford to let anyone else walk since they are pretty replaceable, but I would like to bring Sonny back but Wright's play has been good lately, so either one would be fine for me since both are boneheads on offense at times.
