Agree x100000 I don't think the team you play on should affect you getting into ASW, especially the competitions.

The trade was lopsided, especially since no one knew how good Gasol would be at the time. Luckily Marc panned out and looks really good, the Lakers still got the better end but the deal isn't as lopsided as it first seemed. Lakers, like the Cavaliers look like they are doing, got an all-star without giving anything of significance to them.

I tend to [expletive] on Amare but Hickson will never be close, he will be great with Nash though, will get a lot of dunks and easy buckets from Nash. Hickson was picked in the late first round for a reason, the kid has a lot of holes in his game and will probably never be an all-star. In terms of the deal this is no risk because the Cavaliers are giving nothing they can't afford to lose, but like BFT said this could mess the Cavs up. I do it just so come playoff time LeBron has an ACTUAL 2nd option at his side, not just Mo Williams. Plus Amare has a nice little face up jumper doesn't he? Like in the 10-13 foot range or something? If he can stick that jumper consistently I am sure this deal will work out fine. I am talking about that jumper Z is always taking, if Amare is capable of doing that relatively consistently he should be fine. Plus having Amare as your starting 4 against the Celtics and Lakers in the playoffs is better than Hickson.

Superstar in the making, all he needs is to become a good defender and a better shooter. Just round out his game really but the foundation is set. Playing alongside Wade would be amazing for Rose, if Wade came to Chicago.

Kerr has slowly turned that 60 win team into a borderline playoff team, a non-playoff team once Amare is gone. I don't get how he is still the GM.

I can't believe Amare is getting dealt for JJ Hickson. At least the Cavs will be playing Amare at the 4, and if he can replicate his play alongside Shaq like 2 years ago, then this will make the Cavaliers, IMO, the best team in the NBA.

He fell off about as hard as anyone could. He averaged 21 a game one year then the next became a total scrub for the Magic/Knicks. He was always kind of overrated to begin with though, you knew once his legs were gone, so was he.

They probably would not have Dwight that is for sure. EDIT: Woah wait? I thought T-Mac was dealt the off-season before they sucked and got the first pick? If not , a pairing of T-Mac and Dwight is really nice to think about but who knows if Dwight would have panned out the way he did.

Demar should have won, Nate buys another dunk contest. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised, just would have been nice to see Demar win it. EDIT: Demar had 2 or 3 really solid dunks and Nate had one. Nate gets auto grades though, I cant believe they let the crowd vote on the winner I completely forgot about that, they should just let the voters pick the winner smh.

The only thing worse than this competition is the crowd, honestly they wouldn't have cheered if Vince came out and threw a huge slam down.
