  1. I'm not big on Ariza to be honest, throw Gordon on that list if you want to as well... IMO all we need is a 2nd option, and how do we have too many shooters? If we lose Kapono AND AP we lost our 2 best shooters lol. Anyways, we just need a guy who we can give the ball to on the wing and get us a basket, a guy besides Bosh who can produce for himself. Maybe Bargs will be that this year but I don't wanna take that chance... my list goes as follows for who I'd want ideally: 1. Artest 2. Gordon 3. Hedo 4. Odom 5. Marvin But it depends on what the other teams with cap are looking to do, but with the Rockets current situation, I think we have to get on the phone with Artest ASAP, he is the one guy I'd absolutely LOVE on the Raptors.
  2. Co-sign on Calderon, I know he's not great but people act like he is a backup PG. If he was more aggressive on offense and running the fast break he'd be a stud, we'll probably run more next year so he'll get more chances, not to mention he was hurt all last year because Mitchell played him so much trying to save his job. Jose is a good PG, not a stud, but he is better than people give him credit for. Also co-sign that Luis Scola one, throw Ron Artest in there too I think people forget how much of a stud he is sometimes.
  3. Sup lol... and I was loling at the fact you have the only 20-10 big man in the NBA besides D12 on the bench behind Perkins, who shouldn't be on the team period. Never mind that, but all the bigs on the bench are better than Perkins.
  4. Florida Buffalo Detroit Other than that never outside of my province (Live right by Toronto, in Ontario) I'd love to go to Europe some time though, got a lot of family in the UK.
  5. I like this list. Might have JJ 3rd and VC 4th though.
  6. Pretty sure the Raptors have around 11 or 12 million in cap, but they have to sign like 5 players depending on the options they exercise and what not. Anyways I hope we throw offers to all the wing players up there, specifically Artest and Hedo first and foremost, then Ariza, Odom and CV secondary. Of course it depends on if they WANT to come here, but money can usually outweight someone's lack of desire to play in Canada, at least I hope. Anyways I read a piece where Artest said Toronto is an awesome city, and with Yao being out all next year apparently, and T-Mac with one foot out the door, hopefully the Rockets let Ron walk, and in that case the Raptors could offer him around 10 mill, more than anyone can or might be willing to offer. Really I just hope the Raps can sign a SF or SG that can come here and make us a better team, also whatever team overpays for Ariza is going to regret it IMO, Odom is the guy the Lakers should be focusing on re-signing.
  7. Favorite Team: Cheer for Leafs but it's hard to stay interested in them when Pony is our best forward <_< ... also I like to see the Pens do well, someone to rival the Wings. Favorite Players: Gilmour (all-time), Sakic and Perry right now. Least Favorite Team: Red Wings Least Favorite Players: Ovie and Kovalev Anything Else: Ovie is the most overrated player in the NHL
  8. Name: Steve Year You Became A Raptors Fan: 03/04 Favorite Raptors Moment: Raptors getting the first pick(even though it wound up being Bargs), I was texted everyone when we got it lol.... or when we made the playoffs and won the Atlantic. Favorite Current Raptors Player: Demar already lol... otherwise probably AP Favorite All-Time Raptors Player: Carter and Milt Polacio Anything Else: Need to get on the phone with the agents of Artest and Hedo on July 1st at 12:01 AM, we can't afford to lose Bosh, aren't you sick of being crap? Trading Bosh=more rebuilding. I'm open to trading Bosh if we are still gonna be good but I don't wanna downgrade. Also Demar for dunk champ 09
  9. I like Iggy more than Martin and maybe more than Redd depending how Redd plays next year if he can get back to his 25 PPG self.
  10. The plot was sub-par, but are we really seeing this movie for the plot and story development? I know I'm not, I went to see Megan Fox and some action, both of which I got plenty of. This is not a movie for the reviewers, Bay just gave people what they want. There is apparently a 3rd one coming out by like 2012 which will probably make huge money too. My only complaint is they need to fix up the decepticons, because honestly I can't tell the difference between them, they are all gray and I can't tell which is which unless it is a close-up on their face.
  11. Nets got more for VC then Bucks did for RJ, at least Lee and Alston are competent players, the Bucks got 12th man players and are even releasing Bowen aren't they? Anyways I think the Spurs made the best deal in getting RJ, now they can play Manu off the bench, and now the Spurs will ALWAYS have 2 legitimate scoring threats on the floor at a time, often times 3 and even 4 if they want. Hopefully the Spurs can dethrone the Lakers

  13. Lol my brother and I would watch it, and as soon as it finished we'd rewind(gotta love VCR's) it and watch it again, pretty much all day when we could.
  14. VC has a great handle too, I'm sure he can run the offense as well or as much as Hedo did. As a Carter fan I'm happy to see him get a chance at a ring, hopefully he can realize he ISN'T the man anymore, he has to sacrifice his shots and work the ball around. It's really time to see if Vince is a career loser like many have pegged him as, because this is his best chance to win a ring in his entire career. Hopefully he can buy into the system in Orlando, if Raptors are struggling I know who I'll be cheering for.
  15. Who in their prime? Who right now? Who has had the better career thus far? Discuss.
  16. Shaquille, he is the most dominant big man of his time.
  17. If he can get a consistent jumper and improve his handle he'll be a really good player. His defense is already there apparently(I didn't really watch him in college) and we all know he can jump through the roof. He showed a lot of improvement towards the end of the college year and he seems motivated to bring a lot to the Raptors, based on his tweeting and interviews lol. He has the right attitude and he wants to be a really good player in the league, if he can be a 2nd option type player down the road that would be ideal as a Raptors fan. I'm just excited for the Summer League to see what the kid is capable of, even if it is just Summer League. I put star just because I think he'll be closer to a star then a bust, but I don't see him as a perennial all-star or VC type player.
