  1. +1 REP FOR EVERYONE IN THREAD EXCEPT THREAD STARTER
  2. And how is the money transferred? Paypal?
  3. I see what you are trying to do, but lol.... we aren't picking Dwight because he jumps high and gets big blocks, his intimidation in the lane and rebounding helps the Magic be a top 3 defensive team.
  4. Am I the only one just a bit curious what the [expletive] the Knicks would be offering for Mayo? I realize he is slumping this year, badly, but if a team out there isn't willing to swoop in and beat the Knicks' offer Idk what to say, they obviously aren't giving up very much for him. The kid is talented, you don't just go from a borderline 20 PPG player to a role player at 23 years old.
  5. As long as Rondo is there this team probably has another 2-3 years of winning 50+ games/contending for a shot at the title. It will be important for them to continue to try and funnel in and develop new young talent over the years though. Avery Bradley can probably be a player for them moving forward. This team is extremely efficient offensively because of Rondo, JO is the only relevant player shooting below 45% which is kind of crazy, couple that with their great defensive efficiency and discipline, this team should be able to contend for a few more years at least. And in regards to Shaq, I must personally admit he has exceeded my expectations this year, 11 and 6.4 in only 22 minutes is really solid. They can probably cut JO once Perkins is back though lol. I don't think Shaq playing better is because of the vets, I think it is because he isn't in a system where one player has the ball the entire time. Suggesting this being their last shot is kind of crazy.
  6. I am not sure, but saying the Heat have been the best team thus far is either trying to stir up a discussion or just straight craziness. How many good teams have they even beat yet? I will be the first to defend LBJ and company, but they haven't been on the level of the Celtics, Spurs, Mavs, etc. That could easily change in the next quarter of the season, but right now? No way.

  8. Don't worry, it is more likely this turns into a LeBron-Kobe debate.
  9. Maybe his percentages would be a bit better if 4 out of every 5 shots weren't jumpers.
  10. It took them 1/4 of the season to figure out they can run it down teams throats easily.
  11. Feels like Derozan is the only one who cares about this team, I like seeing him getting annoyed out there at everyone's stupid mistakes. Run more plays for this kid, let him chuck, Weems can gtfo.
  12. T-Mac can still only put the ball in the hoop when it doesn't matter.
  13. That mid range bucket by Demar needs to become his bread and butter, it will just open everything up for him. The form looks fine, that is why I am so mind-[expletive]ed at his horrible shooting numbers. He doesn't need a 3 point shot (yet) to be relatively effective, but that mid range needs to become a consistent part of his offensive arsenal.
  14. Sweet thread, would have liked to have seen the advice before he got banned.
  15. Yeah, when I am tired my shot has no lift and they are bricks.
  16. Derrick Rose? That is kind of random lol. Rose is a stud, but he isn't even the best PG, let alone on the brink of being the best player.
  17. I wasn't aware that the Clippers were cheap, I haven't seen any such indication that suggests this, I could definitely be wrong though since I'm not that familiar with the team. Baron and Kaman are making huge bucks individually because of contracts they gave them, and I have to imagine if they were winning more than 20 games a year they would be inclined to spend more money. The team itself hasn't been desirable because they have been trash. However, you have to imagine if they cleared max cap space a player would have to be interested in going there with all the sweet pieces they have in place. Are the Clippers Miami, Boston, Lakers? No, but at the same time they aren't Milwaukee, Memphis, Toronto, etc. With the market they are in, you have to imagine if they had good pieces in place, and money to use, players would go there in a heartbeat. I really don't think the Lakers would scare teams off, if anything, trying to get the team out of the Lakers' shadow should be enticing, although you never know with the lack of competitiveness in the NBA these days. I don't really think citing LBJ passing the Clippers is fair though, they don't have the pieces in place to attract a player like that right now, but 1 or 2 years from now? They definitely could/should.
