Although Teflon Don was one of the better albums this year, there's just no way I could purchase a Rick Ross album. Just not a big enough fan. The only albums I ever purchase are guys that I really like like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco...

Exactly. Which makes the death penalty pointless, unless in rare cases. Which is why I'm opposed to it except for rare cases such as the DC sniper who went on to kill like 15 people. As long as they are certain they got the right guy, and he seemingly admits it like in the DC sniper case, then put him down.

But how do you respond to those who say the Death Penalty is actually more expensive then to keep these criminals in jail?

One time is too many. If one of your buddies was wrongfully convicted, and you know it, but they gave him the death penalty, and then found out he was the wrong person, how would you feel? Come on man, you gotta put yourself in tehse other people's positions. If someone's not guilty, they're not guilty. I'm not saying this happens a lot, because it obviously doesn't. What I am saying is, that one time is still way too many. If someone sits in a cell for 20 years, sure that's 20 years they could've been enjoying their lives...but to kill someone and make a mistake? They aren't ever coming back.

Which is why I am opposed to the death penalty. And because of wrongful conviction; sure doesn't happen often but once is one time too many.

My sociology teacher claims that it's actually more expensive for the government to give the death penalty as oppose to life in prison. With all the appeals by the suspect it ends up costing so much in lawyer fees for the government then to just throw the guy in a cell.

There's no debate, the guy can score. How great of a defender, passer, rebounder and intangibles he is is still yet to be seen IMO and he definitely has room for improvement in those categories.
