  1. fun to win in boston whenever u get the chance (which hasn't been often lol) what happened to this forum? place is officially dead outside of shaliq
  2. thoughts on mlb the show or mlb 2k13??? haven't bought a baseball game in 3 years, thinking about getting one.
  3. lol yeah true. hes been kind of key with for us at times though. with melo amare and tyson out for those few games he does give you some scoring. especially early in the games. i don't have a problem with him playing limited minutes.
  4. lolol he's alright. he can give you some scoring but his defense is terrible lol. he can't elevate, he's slow, and he has no idea how to effectively rotate or play any type of team defense
  5. well he speaks from a fans prepsective which is definitely cool instead of the standard rhetoric lol
  6. Love this article by Mike Wise of the Washington Post. Funny, but a lot of cool aspects to it.
  7. I like Belmont over Arizona in the West region. I have Cal over UNLV out East. And I have Minnesota beating UCLA in the South Region. I'm sure there will be plenty more upsets, it's just almost impossible to pick them and it does you no good trying to go upset crazy if you are playing for money. I've won my bracket the past two years, and can tell you that picking out that 12 over the 5 upset, or the 13 over the 4, or whatever, really is meaningless. It all comes down to the final four and championship game. My final four is Duke, New Mexico, Florida, Miami. I went out on a limb here, but I figured - hey, college hoops has been super weird this season. I wouldn't be shocked to see a team like New Mexico get to the final four. And, Duke W/ Kelly is a way different team than without him. I expect them to go pretty far. Their backcourt is as good as it's been in years IMO. I really like Cook and Sulamon. Florida is a team that has a ton of talent, and their backcourt is darn good too. I've always thought backcourts and the three ball is what can take you far in the tourney, and FLA has that. Then Miami has been so consistent all year, great coach, Larkin is fearless, Scott, Kadji, Gamble, etc. I really like their squad and their road to the final four. Ultimately, I have Miami winning it over New Mexico. Just a strange year for College hoops, impossible to predict, but that's just my shot at it. Interested to hear everyone elses bracket.
  8. Definitely. Especially Louisville -- They have Duke, who could be a #1 seed, Michigan St. who has a terrific coach and has been good all year, and Saint Louis, who everyone and their mother is obsessed with, and Oklahoma St, who I saw play NC State very early in the year, and has just as much talent as anyone in this tournament. As far as Kansas' region Georgetown, Florida, and VCU are the teams that really scare you there.
  9. totally agree. man i am trying to fill it out and i just keep clicking and changing lol. i can't do it. all the teams are so shaky!!!!
  10. definitely some underrated guys right there. i am really looking forward to this season
  11. can't wait for the selection show. i absolutely love the tournament. especially the first four days!
  12. the games are such a [expletive]ing bore with melo tyson and amar'e out. if JR doesn't go off the team can't score. it blows
  13. If they finish 6th, big [expletive]ing deal...the Eastern conference is horrible.
  14. Kenyon has been terrific. Unfortunately it hasn't really translated into success but once they get the main guys healthy and get off this brutal road trip i think he's going to make a huge difference.
  15. it's highly unlikely melo or chandler play in LA. which means a double digit loss for the knicks.
  16. No, I didn't make this. But it did have me rollin
  17. that shit was nice!!^ JR for sixth man of the year!
  18. all the good vibes around this game are......................gone
  19. Yeah, I don't think he had the intent of getting Kobe to sprain his ankle, just simply make the landing awkward enough that Kobe wouldn't make the shot. Idk, if he intentionally tried to injure him ... I think that's kind of unfair to say...but was it somewhat of a bush league play? Yeah. I can see both sides of it. If someone did this to Melo, say, Jeff Green of Boston, I'd probably be livid. But at the same time, I can understand where Jones is coming from....he's trying to win the game and make it the most difficult shot as possible.
  20. True. turnovers have been big, not many chandler lobs anymore either which is a product of getting away from the felton penetration. but #meloball can work if he's healthy. he's not healthy obviously and then him trying to force his shot the way he's playing is clown city it's brutal to watch. francesa just said "i don't think they'll win a game on this trip and i said it all along" going into the west coast trip i thought 2 out of 5 would be great and realistic ....but now i actually agree with him at this point .... they have looked so bad they are out of these games by mid 2nd quarter which is pretty tough to do in the NBA...
  21. only watched the first quarter and a half. it was just too painful once it got to about 50-30 the thing is we can't even score anymore. the defense sucks, but it's sucked for the past three months really. but the offense has now hit a complete lull without STAT and a clearly effected Carmelo. it's a bit of a nightmare right now, but if we can get our shit together in the next couple weeks we'll be alright. honestly all any knick fans really care about is making the playoffs and winning at least a round.
