I agree. They could've gotten Amare numerous times I'm sure PHX would've been willing to trade him last season for the right pieces. That was the first thing that jumped out to me when I read his "letter" to the fans, and now this. I mean, honestly, he is the owner for godsakes! Why is he acting like he's a blogger?

Lol, C'mon, this Gilbert guy is making himself look like a clown.

Who are the REAL losers of Free Agency so far?
JYD replied to Cobb's topic in General NBA Discussion
The Cavs are the biggest loser. They lost THEIR guy. That always looks bad, and now their team is basically going to be from the top to the bottom of the east. The Knicks and Bulls are in the same position to me. Both wanted LeBron, or even Wade BADLY, but still got a solid big man and still have some cap room left. The Nets are, well, being the Nets, and not doing much of anything... -
Stephen A. Smith is the man.

hahahahahhahaha but really the knicks look [expletive]ED

Ok, LeBron to NEW YORK is officially over. He will never play for the Knicks. So what now? Is it POSSIBLE to get Carmelo via sign and trade this season from Denver? Probably not. So, Tony Parker? Mike Miller? Where do we go from here. LOL.

LeBron James Announces He Will Join Miami Heat

[expletive]ing wack [expletive] you lebron -
Maybe he'll change five minutes before the broadcast to the Knicks or Cavs or Bulls just to UP the ratings for his show.

I just don't get why he would want to play with Wade AND Bosh. I can understand him wanting to be on a better team then they have in Cleveland, but even if he goes to Miami and they win, what does that do for LeBron's legacy? How is winning a title with these other two stars even have any credibility for his career? Idk, maybe that's just me.

I agree with that, haha, for sure. But if Wade and Bosh AND LeBron go and win a ring next year, what does that say? Cool, the team with the three biggest stars won the championship. REAL exciting for a NBA fan standpoint. -

Idk about that. Having three, huge superstars on one team bores me. I think it'd be awesome if the Knicks and Heat renewed their rivalry with LeBron/Amare vs. Wade/Bosh. The East would be so much fun to watch (still loaded with the Magic and Celtics) -

well i think most people realize it's probably NOT going to happen, so it's not going to kill their franchise. now if he signed in NJ, that would REALLY hurt them. but getting amare isn't bad. we'll have a great shot at 'Melo since supposedly he definitely wants to play here...with LeBron, I never got the feeling he ever really wanted to come to N.Y., that was just what the media fabricated. -

please...if anything go back to cleveland. it's going to ruin the nba if he goes to miamiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii -
Can I BLAME him for leaving? No, but in many eyes it will still be viewed as cowardish; as if he escaped the situation for even more media attention (ex. NY) or to play on a seemingly "dream team" (ex. Miami).
-
You make some good points here, but the fact of the matter is he was brought there to deliver a championship, and it is his home....I do think it looks kind of cowardly when he bolts for a big city, or to play with big stars. Lets not forget all the loyalty the fans have given him too and how much the city adored him. At the same time I can see your point of view. Why he would leave is obvious, I just think he looks like a coward when he leaves, but he will also look like a hero if he were to return.

they'll eventually have to report it. if every other news source reports it tonight/tomorrow morning, espn is going to look foolish for trying to just cover it up for their own good.
-
wow. lebron, wade, and bosh in miami. this is so lame.
-
yup just looked at the ticker...nothing to be found about that. idk i believe you guys but i want to see it elsewhere first
-
[expletive] man i really hope this isnt true but i believe the guys here saying it is. no point in lying about this and losing credibility on the site

The artwork isn't great IMO but it's pretty sick with MJ23 on it
