  1. He's one of my favorite player. He does do alot for your team and can impact both ends of the floor. But i don't think he's a max player. bu t hell, the way the NBA teams are throwing money, i guess he is, LOL.
  2. i think you guys are forgetting the real reason for the ASG. It's about the fans and who they want to see. IDGAF if the lakers only had 3 wins, Kobe is the popular NBA player in the world. He deserves to be in all star
  3. excellent observation, both players in their prime right now, so its certainly a fair comparison. its not like one is 28 in his 10th season and the other is 34 in his 17th.
  4. He really does suck now. can't even stand the the guy anymore. the guys couldn't even make wide open 12 ft jumpers. @RealDeal, yeah i was lmfao when he got rejected by hawes yesterday. He got rejected by Big Baby Davis earlier this season too LOL. And your right OP, he somehow gotten softer, can't even defend the guy anymore. For our sake, let's pray Mitch can work his magic.
  5. appreciate that. thank you.

  6. I've always thought this was a bail out play. i know some people won't agree with me, but man it's very irritating. it just bails people out who don't want to play defense. if a person literally runs you over, then that's a charge. but all this stepping in front of people just to fall to the ground is just ridiculous imo. i know most won't agree but i just had to get my frustration for " Taking Charges" out there, lol.
  7. Without a doubt, Derrick Rose. were both from engelwood in chicago. i use to watch him play in high school. his mother worked at my elementary school. been a fan since his high school days. anyone who can make it out of that environment and do something positive with their live has my full support and respect.
  8. i like varejao. i live and chicago and my brothers are die hard bulls fans and i tell all the time jokiam noah is a poor man's varejao. been saying for a couple years now. he now just showing truly because he is finally healthy. there both energy player but varejao actually is solid offensively. jokiam noah is absolutely horrendous on offense. while noah is a better rim protector shot blocking wise, AV is a better overall defender. AV is also is a better rebounder aswell. but no, he is not the best center in the league. if he keeps playing like this he might be the best in the east tho.
  9. how are you guys liking branden dawson? he needs to stop turning the ball over. and be more aggressive on offense. him and keith Appling are going to have to be those guys for this michigan state team this year. he's fresh off acl surgery etc. so he didn't have a summer to improve on the needed areas of his game. but still is having a great season nonetheless. can't wait to he gets better handlesand a better jumpshot. he's nba bound no doubt but if he stays for the last few college years and fixs a couple of nix in his game, we're looking at a budding all star. here's a article on him http://www.freep.com/article/20121125/SPORTS07/311250231/After-recovery-Michigan-State-s-Branden-Dawson-is-a-work-in-progress Season Averages SEASON TEAM MIN FGM-FGA FG% 3PM-3PA 3P% FTM-FTA FT% REB AST BLK STL PF TO PTS 2012-13 MSU 27.7 5.0-8.9 .565 0.0-0.1 .000 1.3-2.6 .500 6.1 1.7 0.9 2.6 1.7 2.6 11.3 2011-12 MSU 20.6 3.5-6.1 .577 0.0-0.1 .000 1.3-2.2 .594 4.5 0.9 0.8 0.9 1.3 1.4 8.4 there's his stats for last year and this year.
  10. lol, yep ive actually heard a couple kobe haters say that gasol was the best player in the playoffs thing. hey, they had to come up with something since the can't win w/o shaq became null and void.
  11. the guy who made this thread must be a major kobe hater, LOL. question, why are lebron fans so disrepectful towards kobe? doesn't make sense. im no lebron fan, but i just don't endlessly bash him like he's chopped liver. i respect great players. most lebron fans are young tho, so i guess the immaturity and ignorance about anything before 2007 should be expected. its not all of them, but majority need to learn how to respect greatness.
  12. i hope he does. it'll add to his already illustrious career and gain him possibly another mvp which he rightfully deserves.
  13. first off, pretty disrespectful of you to question the work ethic of an all time great. secondly, surprisingly kobe has been rather passive besides a couple games this year. averaging 26-27 with extreme ease and efficiency.
  14. if you watch lakers games, you could see kobe has been cruising as well. granted, we started off rocky, i have no doubt we'll pick it up and when we do............
  15. i just about agree with everything you said.
  16. false, he was fired because they wanted to keep lebron in cleveland.
  17. you guys do know that lebron got mike brown fired also. that plus the decision =worst of them all. and considering the fact that he left cleveland fans and management out of the loop as if they had nothing to worry about he was staying, a downright slap in the face of that city.
  18. by that logic , nobody in the league can be compared to duncan or kobe. both former mvps, more first team selections, proven #1 options, led teams deep into the playoffs, and have won 4 and 5 championships respectively with several finals mvps between them.
  19. i agree wholeheartedly. davis and lawson could make statements as well.
  20. josh smith( if they don't snub him again), john wall( with a better supporting cast, can see a breakout season for him).
  21. i agree. i just think westbrook has a high ceiling, like you said they could be 1 day
