  1. He really does suck now. can't even stand the the guy anymore. the guys couldn't even make wide open 12 ft jumpers. @RealDeal, yeah i was lmfao when he got rejected by hawes yesterday. He got rejected by Big Baby Davis earlier this season too LOL. And your right OP, he somehow gotten softer, can't even defend the guy anymore. For our sake, let's pray Mitch can work his magic.

  2. I've always thought this was a bail out play. i know some people won't agree with me, but man it's very irritating. it just bails people out who don't want to play defense. if a person literally runs you over, then that's a charge. but all this stepping in front of people just to fall to the ground is just ridiculous imo. i know most won't agree but i just had to get my frustration for " Taking Charges" out there, lol.

  3. i like varejao. i live and chicago and my brothers are die hard bulls fans and i tell all the time jokiam noah is a poor man's varejao. been saying for a couple years now. he now just showing truly because he is finally healthy. there both energy player but varejao actually is solid offensively. jokiam noah is absolutely horrendous on offense. while noah is a better rim protector shot blocking wise, AV is a better overall defender. AV is also is a better rebounder aswell.

but no, he is not the best center in the league. if he keeps playing like this he might be the best in the east tho.

  4. how are you guys liking branden dawson? he needs to stop turning the ball over. and be more aggressive on offense. him and keith Appling are going to have to be those guys for this michigan state team this year. he's fresh off acl surgery etc. so he didn't have a summer to improve on the needed areas of his game. but still is having a great season nonetheless. can't wait to he gets better handlesand a better jumpshot. he's nba bound no doubt but if he stays for the last few college years and fixs a couple of nix in his game, we're looking at a budding all star.

    here's a article on him

there's his stats for last year and this year.

  5. He's not a LeBron fan, he's an anything-but-Kobe fan. His favorite player is Shaq, and up until 2009, his entire argument centered around Kobe not winning without O'Neal. Once that happened, it was all about Gasol being the MVP of the Lakers (lol), and now, I'm not sure what he's saying.

lol, yep ive actually heard a couple kobe haters say that gasol was the best player in the playoffs thing. hey, they had to come up with something since the can't win w/o shaq became null and void.

  6. the guy who made this thread must be a major kobe hater, LOL. question, why are lebron fans so disrepectful towards kobe? doesn't make sense. im no lebron fan, but i just don't endlessly bash him like he's chopped liver. i respect great players. most lebron fans are young tho, so i guess the immaturity and ignorance about anything before 2007 should be expected. its not all of them, but majority need to learn how to respect greatness.

  7. I doubt Kobe is cruising..if he is as hard a worker as everyone makes him out to be, he would be trying the hardest of his life to not let his team get off to like a 2-10 start.

first off, pretty disrespectful of you to question the work ethic of an all time great. secondly, surprisingly kobe has been rather passive besides a couple games this year. averaging 26-27 with extreme ease and efficiency.

  8. Lakers, Thunder, Spurs, Celtics, Pacers, Heat

Lakers and Heat, Lakers win in 6 or 7

I really think the Grizzles have a shot at winning the Southwest Division. It'll be interesting to see what a healthy Z-Bo and Gay can do together for a full season.

I can see the Lakers coming out the gate slow, but by the time the playoffs roll around they'll be ready to kick it up a notch. Artest is in way better shape compared to last season, you can tell just by watching presason. He's shed a few pounds which had helped him regain some athleticism and quickness. He threw is down with ease in last nights game.

It's a shame that the Pacers are the only team in the East that has a chance of upsetting Miami in the playoffs, and even that is a longshot. Unless the Big Three get injured I just don't see any team stopping them from getting to the NBA Finals.

i just about agree with everything you said.

  9. Dwight got his coach fired, left his decent team out to dry, and still has not explained his reason for leaving. He did the fans wrong as well by basically saying he wanted to leave right smack in the middle of the season. Lebron at least had the decency to get the Cavs to a damn good record and play out the season before leaving.

you guys do know that lebron got mike brown fired also. that plus the decision =worst of them all. and considering the fact that he left cleveland fans and management out of the loop as if they had nothing to worry about he was staying, a downright slap in the face of that city.

  10. I have a feeling Atlanta will dangle Josh Smith out there, as trade bait, before the deadline...and he'll get a taste of those rumors very early, realize he's not staying in Atlanta, and may not put out enough to land that All-Star spot. Could be the opposite, if he really wants to stay, but I don't know.

Wall makes sense, but the Wizards have to win games.

Lawson is going to play for a new contract, and he now has Iguodala as a teammate (and Iggy has been facilitating for quite some time now, so the load will be lifted a bit), so I'd stick him on this list.

Will anyone be surprised if Anthony Davis gets in? I know the fans will vote for him, and Howard will take the starting center spot...but will his defense land him a spot, despite the Hornets' record, and will the coaches be swayed by the fan vote?

i agree wholeheartedly. davis and lawson could make statements as well.

  11. Neither has Klay Thompson and Brandon Rush, but I'm not going to sit here and say they are more valuable.

I read that you believe Westbrook is the best player on the Thunder. That alone tells me you may believe he's better than Dwyane Wade, or close, and he's not.

Just so you know, Durant isn't only the better offensive player (vs. Westbrook), he's actually the better defender. Last season, his Defensive Rating, his Allowed PER, AND his Allowed FG% were all better than Westbrook's...by far. This is all considering the fact that Westbrook defends PG's, and PG's tend to shoot a lower percentage from the floor than SF's.

Maybe someday, Westbrook and Harden will be a better duo than Wade and Bosh in their primes, but I'll be shocked. As of how they play right now, at their age, the Wade/Bosh duo is superior due to nearly every reason in the book.

i agree. i just think westbrook has a high ceiling, like you said they could be 1 day
