  1. Smith was just ok in the regular season for Houston, but has been pretty good for them in the playoffs.
  2. I like: * The fractured lettering in "QUEST". * All of those skulls on the ground. One of the skulls has a snake on it. Another skull is partially bloody. * The blade out of the tire, and the partial blood dripping onto the skull, and the partially torn tires. * The fire by the hills. * The blood dripping on the goggles. * The bullet holes on the car. * The blood on the hands and wrist. I guess the sky/atmosphere isn't as detailed as last time, but the foreground is more detailed. How about this. The first pic looks takes into account the surroundings more (because of the tornado and the twilight time of day). This one looks like it's focusing on the battle more. Different areas of emphasis.
  3. Wow, this one's gory, lol. It has a darker feel. Thus, black.
  4. I've commented on it a few times while it was in progress, so I've already said some stuff earlier. * You did a nice job with the lettering. "Bench On A" is two-toned horizontally, and "Quest" is two-toned differently. * What did you use to draw it? Just colored pencils, or something else? Did you mess up anywhere and have to try and fix it? * Nice job getting the smoke to go through the letters. I would say, only because of how detailed this already is, that in comparison, the blue land across the bridge isn't as detailed. Maybe because the explosion already blew everything up. But there's a contrast to how the left side of the pic is very detailed, with teh different shades of grass, the skull, etc. And the right side is a bit less so. * Why are there two helicopters? * Again, nice job with the top of the hut, it's multi-colored. * According to the insignia on Chris Paul's sleeve, he's a corporal? But then you have a few bench members who are sergeants? Maybe I'm wrong about something.
  5. I would say one thing missing in this streak is a history-making type game itself. For example, while this wasn't during a long winning streak, when the Clippers and Hornets played in March 2006, the Clippers held the Hornets to 8 points in the 3rd quarter, and 8 points in the 4th quarter. 16 points in a half. Whether it's with total offense, FG%, points in the paint, 3-point shooting, bench scoring, starters scoring, total assists, total steals, total blocks, 5 turnovers or less, or most players in double-figures in a game, that's something that would be cool if the Clippers did it in a game. If they had one of those games that stands out with respect to some of these stats.
  6. It's weird that the Spurs haven't had a bigger winning streak WITH Duncan. That the 17 gamer was before Duncan. And the Spurs have had the # 1 seed at least 4 times in the Duncan era (so that means they won a lot of games), but never as much as a 17 game streak.
  7. I voted vs. GS, vs. GS, and @ Memphis. I think any game after the Memphis game is going to be hard, because they're due to lose. I also voted vs. GS as opposed @ GS, because GS is 5-5 in their last 10 games at STAPLES. So they have a recent history of not only playing well, but winning, at STAPLES. I didn't pick Denver, because I don't trust Denver's perimeter players. Let's say the frontcourt between the two teams is a wash, or that Denver even has the edge. I don't think Iguodala and Lawson can play well enough to beat Paul, Bledsoe, Crawford, and an occasional burst from Greene. The Clippers have so many guards that one of them is due to play well. They can't all have bad games. The biggest concern against Denver is Denver's rebounding. I have not been happy with the Clippers rebounding for most of the year, and I could see all of Denver's bigs (or even their guards too) outrebounding the Clippers by 15-19. I didn't pick Dallas, because they just don't look that good, and I don't trust their guards. Orlando, I could see someone like Nicholson having a big game, Redick too. I think Orlando will be tougher than Dallas. But if they got past that, then I think beating Memphis will be tough. You have to be ready and have a lot of energy and be able to handle their physical play, and it just seems like if the Clippers are going to lose, it will be to a good team that plays physical and has a growing rivalry. Conley Jr. has also impressed me over the years. I used to think he was just one of those average players, but he's a solid defender, he has some leadership, he can make a jumper. I like the way he runs a team. More than someone like Lawson, for example.
  8. Oops, you're right, haha. Also thanks for the explanation about the history of having two silhouettes.
  9. Overall, I like it. However, I would have moved the "Merry X-Mas" so it wasn't on top of the moon. Perhaps somewhere else where it's just the black night. And I don't like the guy on the sleigh, blocking the moon. I just want to see the moon clearly. It also seems a bit duplicate to have one silhouette in front of the moon, and another on the sleigh. Nice touch with the snowflake on Santa's jersey. Suggestion: Maybe add Chris Paul (or even Del Negro), as "Rudolph"? To symbolize one of them guiding the way. Maybe that would make the art too complicated. Just a thought though. I like how you have the trees. And I also like how the night isn't all uniformly black, but there's a little bit of blurry light on the bottom right. To me, that creates an image of the sleigh traveling fast, and thus leaving some vapor trails. Or it creates some sort of illusion of the sleigh traveling through the night.
  10. It's fun to put the past into perspective with the present.

I usually base these things on a big playoffs win or moment. Clippers haven't been too far in the playoffs yet. It might have been Reggie, but again, getting to the 2nd round is usually not enough, especially when you get swept. Favorite Clippers Coach, All-Time: N.A. Favorite Clippers Moment: 1) Holding New Orleans to "a pair if 8's" after halftime. Scoring 1 2 3 4 T NOK 30 21 8 8 67 LAC 25 22 21 21 89 2) Their next win at Utah, and it better be by more than a few points. I want to see a big win. Too many bad memories there for just a measly win like there was last year.
  12. Here's also Quentin Richardson making every field goal for the Clippers in the 1st quarter. I've never seen anything like it where one player makes all of his team's field goals in the 1st quarter, with that many points scored in the 1st. Maybe it can happen when a team scores less than 10 points in the 1st, but not with this many points. http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/pbp/200311150LAC.html 1st Quarter Time Orlando Score LA Clippers 12:00.0 Start of 1st quarter 12:00.0 Jump ball: C. 14. This game, and Adelman's good play at the end, will never be forgotten. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoLS0t6wzcs
  15. Until last year, this was arguably the closest I've been to seeing the Clippers win @ Utah. Very tough loss on ESPN. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acJJCWy3mNU
  16. Not a positive moment, but: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiLlAPhjCws

  18. The offense has been getting pretty good the past 1+ years, and they've gotten a little tougher, even in spite of losing Reggie.
  19. I think it's impressive to make that many FTs in a row, regardless of the loss. That shouldn't be the headline of an article though, it should be mentioned somewhere within one.
