  1. November 7 - when my fantasy team returns to greatness. :glasses:
  2. Roddy White is really helping my fantasy cause so far this week. :glasses:
  3. 19 games in I was the starter. Now 20-something in I'm only behind John Wall in the rookie ratings. I honestly don't think I'll be able to catch him either.
  4. But like in Milwaukee, he'll just be asked to come in off the bench for short stints. He did what we asked him to do and I think he'll be able to do whatever it is Miami asks him to do. He's a team player and just doesn't want to give it up. I wish him the best of luck this season.
  5. I actually thought he was pretty solid for us last year. He filled his role well and was a great spark off the bench.
  6. Exactly. We had troubles getting to the line last year. We brought him in to do just that as well as provide an offensive spark off the bench. Looks like he might help us get to the line a bit more than I thought.
  7. I think the Bucks had a good offseason. We added some much needed depth and added a lot of offensive-minded players to an already strong defensive team. Bringing in players like Gooden, Maggette, CDR, and Sanders whether its via trade, free agency, or the draft will always help a team out. The only thing I didn't like was that we were unable to resign Luke Ridnour and that we don't have a true backup center. Brockman, Sanders, or Gooden will likely get the majority of those minutes behind Bogut but I don't think that'll cut it over the length of the season.
  8. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the season plays out then. The way I see it though, both teams are pretty similar. Jennings - Rose Bulls get the edge, obviously. Salmons - Bogans, Korver? idk Bucks win the SG battle regardless. Salmons proved that he still has it and can be a viable option down the stretch. Maggette - Deng Deng probably wins the matchup 9 out of 10 times here, but not by much. Maggette can score at will and will get to the line when we need points. Gooden - Boozer Bulls get the edge again but Boozer is by no means a "superstar". Sure, he's a good player but nowhere near the level that can carry a team to a title. Gooden will fill his role and be a strong contributor to a deep team. Bogut - Noah Bogut wins this everyday. He emerged as one of the top centers in the league before his injury last year. Keep in mind that the Bucks are also an extremely deep team. On our bench we'll have Mbah a Moute, CDR, Boykins, Sanders, Ilyasova, Delfino, and Redd if he actually comes back as a Buck. I'll take the Bucks bench any day over the Bulls. In the NBA, injuries can kill a team. Over 82 games not everyone is going to stay healthy (see Boozer... season hasn't even started) so it's important to have depth. I think the Bucks will be a better team than you're giving them credit for. It's going to be a fun season to watch, probably for both teams. Just don't be so quick to mark your team as great and a title contender when it's not even a lock that they'll be finishing in first in the division.
  9. No. The Bulls are overrated. I don't see how they are a lock for anything, with or without JJ. There are plenty of other teams, some even in the same division, that are equal, if not better than, the Bulls.
  10. As you play more games and "rank up" you'll get more minutes, some coming in the fourth. Keep at it.
  11. Are you saying he should be suspended for this hit? No way in hell! Didn't even deserve the penalty in the first place.
  12. As long as he doesn't get any more migraines. Don't expect much though, he's only getting ~10 minutes.
  13. I thought that was a good play. The rule should only apply to things like overthrown balls. If the receiver can make a play (he could have here) that should not be a penalty.
