  1. I'm so happy for Shaun Livingston, Andre Iguodala, and Harrison Barnes. Love those three guys. It's not a stretch at all that Iggy won MVP. He starts the last 3 games and they win. He guarded LeBron and tried his damn best to slow him down (let's be honest, there is no slowing down LeBron unless he gets too tired).
  2. I wouldn't call Turner a scrub, he's a decent player.
  3. Real talk, it's a race between Curry and Harden. And it's a tough choice too. You have Curry, who is [expletive]ing shooting the lights out and helping his team to the best record in the league. He can dominate games so easily, mainly late in games, with efficiency too. During the game against my Blazers, it went back and fourth, exchanging double digit comebacks and lead changes. Then all of a sudden, Curry couldn't miss. From anywhere on the court. Just took over in the last 2 minutes of the game. He's too good, breaking his own 3 point record. He's easily going to pass Miller and Allen as all time 3 point shooter, unless he gets struck down with injury after injury (knock on wood). Then you have Harden, whom I can not [expletive]ing stand at all. He plays god awful defense, flops, and flails his arms to get to the free throw line. But it's because of him that the Rockets (were) the 3rd seed in an incredibly stacked Western Conference. I honestly believe that, if it were James Harden out with injury instead of Dwight Howard, and the Rockets were relying on Howard to lead them, they'd be fighting for the 8th seed with the Thunder and Pelicans. Harden's lack of defense is easily overshadowed by his great offensive skills and ability to sell getting fouled (even if he doesn't get fouled). The Rockets are fighting for the 3rd seed in the West because of him. As for LeBron and Westbrook. I also can't stand Westbrook either, do not like him at all...he's a hell of a player for sure and has the talent, but I don't put him in the same conversation as Harden or Curry, simply because the Thunder aren't in the Playoffs right now and are on the verge of missing them all together. Harsh? Probably, but it's my opinion. LeBron is playing fantastic ball, but it's a no from me. No explanation needed.
  4. Is this the same injury Yao Ming kept fighting?
  5. You should tell him I said hi. That would be awesome and awkward. "Hey yo, DeMar, Dr. Feelgood says hi". Priceless. For real though, that's awesome. Meeting an idol is always amazing.
  6. http://i.imgur.com/q54QBuo.jpg I caught every single (legal) Pokemon and have one of every kind. Text in top left reads:
  7. Aldridge. Because I'm biased.
  8. He's one of my favorite rookies this year, shame he declined this and got snubbed for the rookie/sophomore thingy they're doing now.
  9. I know I know...It was pretty bad.
  10. Also, 6-0 for Detroit with a huge win over the Spurs IN San Antonio too!
  11. Just a blowout spanking of a win. I regret turning off OSU/Bama as when I did, Bama was winning. Oh well. Bring on OSU.
  12. I still like that the Pistons are 3-0 since cutting Josh Smith. But you guys both make valid points. I just don't like Josh Smith and think he'll ultimately hurt the Rockets in the long run.
  13. I meant in general. Obviously DM is playing due to an injured TJ. But if I'm Jones, I'd be a little bit upset with the signing of Josh Smith, who will all of a sudden be getting the start. Jones worked his ass off and put in the time and effort to become the starting PF for the Rockets. And now, all of a sudden, someone with a bad attitude and could be a chemistry killing, who hasn't done anything with the team, is now getting the start because he used to be relevant and is best buds with Dwight...I'd be fairly upset if I were Jones. In my opinion, Josh Smith is a cancerous player (much like Antoine Walker, Steve Francis, etc were, I did have Jamal Crawford in this category but he's been great for the Clipps) that is very selfish. We'll see how it goes though for the Rockets, and if McHale can keep him in check.
  14. There aren't many teams in the league where Josh Smith would fit in in my opinion. He wouldn't be a good fit for Houston either. You gonna bench Terrence Jones after he's been so so good for them?
  15. Dame took a fat dump on the Spurs last night. Sucks I missed the game cause I was at a party but wow...I picked the wrong game to miss.
  16. It's pretty much a done deal now. Charlie V is gonna have to step it up big as a backup PF/C now for the Mavs.
  17. I dunno, the one where KJ McDaniels gave a fan a concussion was pretty epic... http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-basketball/24876748/sixers-kj-mcdaniels-gave-a-fan-a-concussion-with-a-blocked-shot He's quickly become one of my favorite rookies this year, along with Jabari and Wiggins, hah.
  18. I ran a league for about 4 years and yeah...it's definitely tough. That's why I'm only a GM in leagues now, hah.
  19. Hey, just checking to see if anyone is interested in joining a sim league, ran via Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball 3. Currently in the 2014 draft (draft class is slightly different from actual draft class). It's almost done. Here are teams that are open. OKC Thunder - Apply Here CHI Bulls - Apply Here CLE Cavaliers - Apply Here NY Knicks - Apply Here UTA Jazz - Apply Here I posted teams by records last season, currently in the offseason, so players that were on expirings, have gone off the teams. Hope to see someone over there.
