  1. I'm surprised he hasn't had triple bypass surgery yet.
  2. The only PF I would consider better then KG, is Duncan.
  3. He won't be here this year, his offensive game is still raw and needs work, but there is no doubt he will be a very good defensive player when he comes over. If he can develop a nice offensive game he could really be something. Also I watched a couple summer games and have seen some clips of him playing overseas and it seems like he has good court vision, he's unselfish and can pass the ball pretty good.
  4. The Red Sox will probably win once again. I see the Rays winning the wild card out of the AL East. Unless the Yankees make a move to improve there rotation or bullpen, I don't see it.
  5. I wasn't defending the Cavs 'young core'. I was pointing out how dead wrong you are about the Heat having a good young core. Because they don't.
  6. Lets take a look at your homerism. Mario Chalmers, basically a defensive specialist who will never be anything on offense besides a few games where he will occasionally put up big 3 point nights.Michael Beasley, couldn't even get in the starting lineup because of how bad his defense is Daequan Cook, a shooter who can't do anything else Dorell Wright, can never play a full season. Amazing young core you got right there.
  7. The Mavs got the Magic into the 4 team deal and gave them a 10 million dollar exception, there is no way they sign Gortat away from the Mavs.
  8. I doubt he would have gotten anymore money. Bargnani and Varejao have some upside in them even though they aren't worth their new contracts and are relatively young, Birdman is 31 years old with prior drug problems.
  9. I don't understand why Shin Soo Choo wasn't on the final ballot. He has better stats then just about everyone who was on that final 5. Both of the guys who made it are the wrong choice as well. I think it should have been Sandoval/Kemp and then Adam Lind. And the Tigers got two guys in, who just hit homers. Inge and Granderson did not deserve it.
  10. 5.61 ERA in his last season in the Majors, has only gotten older.. He couldn't possibly be getting that much better at 37.
  11. The World Series, mainly because Baseball is my favorite sport.
  12. 1) Clippers - Blake Griffin (9) 2) Grizzlies - Hasheem Thabeet (4) 3) Thunder - James Harden (10) 4) Kings - Tyreke Evans (8) 5) Timberwolves - Ricky Rubio (6) 6) Timberwolves - Jonny Flynn (2) 7) Warriors - Stephen Curry (7) 8) Knicks - Jordan Hill (3) 9) Raptors - DeMar DeRozan (5) 10) Bucks - Brandon Jennings (1)
  13. He'll be fired in 2 years most likely unless he over achieves big time. Dumars has made it clear that they are in "transition" and they didn't want to use money on a big time coach.
  14. It may drive people away but he is the best player in the American League, and the best at a position where many aren't that good. And I guess you just have to believe he's going to stay healthy. I don't think he'll demand a 200 mill contract either, I think and hope he stays with Minnesota. He's from around there, would be a shame to see a player of his caliber leave his home town.
  15. The Knicks want him to get in shape, perform and re-prove himself so they can trade him. They don't have any plans to keep him if he regains some of his old offensive form.
  16. Ilgauskas wouldn't be traded unless it was guaranteed he could get bought out and signed back with the Cavs.
  17. Albert Pujols and Joe Mauer have the most trade value for any player in any sport, simply because of the Minor League game. You can get more value in the MLB on trades because of all the minor league prospects. And those two guys are the two best players in the league, even though Pujols is the best player, Mauer might be more valuable considering he is a catcher and finally found his power. And he is younger.
  18. He was overpaid, but we needed him back, and we needed him locked up. He'll probably be the starting Center when Shaq is gone, he is pretty much a double double guy when he starts, and he is a pretty good defender. He has improved every year on his offensive game. His flopping hurts his reputation but he isn't a bad player at all. One of the quicker centers as well. And more importantly he's a friend of LeBron, so anything to help the cause to get him to sign back.
  19. Thanks guys.. Didn't make the sig if anyone was wondering.
  20. Dumb trade for the Mets. Francouer's on base percentage is barely better then Church's batting average. Francouer rarely walks, is not patient and just really isn't much of a hitter.
  21. If he wanted team success, why did he re-sign with Oakland? He only wants to win for the right price.
  22. Randolph, he has shown star potential, at least from my point of few. He looks like he is going to be a better version of Lamar Odom.
  23. The only reason Wally would be signed, is to be traded. Klieza would be good I guess, Barnes would be okay but I don't know what kind of time he would get.
