I know but if you're taking 30 shots, it takes less 3's to get to 30pts than it does 2's. So you're % is gonna be worse.

Because the guys who are usually taking 30 shots also get to the line a lot. Let's say Kobe gets to the line 7 times, makes 6. So if he scores the other 24 points off 2 pointers, thats 12/30 from the field, which is 40%, not very good. And that's not even factoring in 3's, which make the percentage even worse cause if you made 10 3's, that would be 10/30.

They've had good point guards over the years that end up starting then leaving, TJ Ford, Mo Williams, Ramon Sessions, maybe this means Jennings will be good, lol.

Seriously, 45mil/5year deal on the Magic, or 50mil/5year deal on the Raptors. Doesn't seem like a hard choice. He just wants a long contract. If we really offered him that, I don't see why he wouldn't return.

Well first of all let's not mention Alston since losing him couldn't make us worse since Jameer and him never played together. We're right back where we were at the beginning of last season with Jameer/Anthony Johnson. And we were better with Jameer/AJ than Rafer/AJ. Battie? Ryan Anderson more than makes up for that loss. The guy's only 21. Mickael Pietrus only played 54 games last year so hopefully he can stay healthy this year and make up for the loss of Lee a little bit. He had a pretty nice playoffs. Hedo probably wasn't going to re-sign with us anyway. So if Hedo left and we didn't make the trade for VC, we would be pretty much out of contention. Vince is no doubt better than Turk. Who knows how he'll perform this year. He sounds really excited so he might have a great year. Marcin only played like 13mpg for us and you have to wonder how much of that was garbage time. He came in handy during the couple games that Dwight was injured, or in the playoffs suspended. But I think his hype is making it seem like a bigger than loss that it will be. We do need to get a backup center though, and little more depth. For now it's hard to say though, if we got worse or better. There's a few questions, will Jameer return to all star form? Will Ryan Anderson play great in our system? Will VC be rejuvenated?

That's crazy. idk if that twitter account is his or not, I was listening to a live interview that Ron was giving a couple hours ago and the interviewer brought up the twittering, and Ron didn't deny that it was his account. So maybe he's just drunk and his agent is trying to cover up for him.

Nice. I really like Powe. I heard we are going to split the MLE on 2 players, so if we could get Powe that way, that would be a great pickup.

You're acting like that was the trade. VC and Ryan Anderson > Alston, Lee, Battie Alston would've been a nice backup, but we may have avoided potential PG drama by trading him.

Magic Celtics

These are the two names I keep hearing that the Magic are trying to get. So who would be better for the Magic? I don't know, I would be happy with either of these guys. On one hand, Sheed can shoot the 3, brings veteran experience. But I like Bass cause he's young, 24 years old, and he's strong and gritty. He could grow alongside our young guys.

I'm getting excited for VC, I know he's really pumped to be here. And one thing I love about him, he holds Kobe to horrible percentages. This year in 2 games vs NJ, Kobe had 13ppg and shot 28%. And I think he's played poor versus VC like that for the past few seasons.
