  1. I don't see a reason why they wouldn't match any offer for Sessions. He's already a proven point guard and he actually passes the ball to teammates. Clippers and the Heat are told to be the only two teams looking to sign Sessions in an offer sheet, and Sessions isn't really intrigued about going to LA with Davis and Telfair already in the backcourt. Unless Miami signs him in a big offer sheet, I still expect Sessions to be a Buck next season and be starting.
  2. Good signing for the Pistons since they are thin at the 5. Sad to hear for the Hawks. That only leaves Joe Smith as a target.
  3. I love how Kevin Love is a good sport about it. The dunk wasn't even that great, but it's good to see Josh Smith dunking on people. I really hope he plays for USA this year and learn some things from other players on the squad.
  4. I believe Devin Harris is 26. No doubt he would be on the list if he was under 25. Tell me exactly how Westbrook is so much better than Stuckey. Please.
  5. Sorry man. Don't really know anything about football. I don't have the time for sim leagues anyway. Yeah, I spoke with him. The ol' forum was getting a bit immature for me. I'll still be posting there, just not as much. Thanks man. I definitely will.
  6. There is nothing Horford can learn from Wallace. Horford already knows positioning on defense and knows how to rebound. If Al Horford needs teaching on something, it will be on the offensive end and I really doubt Ben Wallace can tutor Horford with that.
  7. First of all, Rondo is better than Rose so you got that right. He's a walking triple double point guard. He's the best defensive point guard and he's the best rebounding point guard in the NBA. His offensive skills is getting better as well. Rose is a great young point guard and he has shown a lot of ability to lead a team throughout the season and the playoffs, but his defense is just average and he could work on his jumper a little bit more like Rondo. Anyway, I agree with #1-4. As for 5, I rather see Rodney Stuckey be there instead of Russell Westbrook. Their stats on ppg, rpg, apg are pretty similar, but Stuckey is a smarter player than Westbrook right now. Westbrook still plays a little bit erratic at times and he would force shots that he can't make. Also, Westbrook plays in one of the worst teams in the league right now, so his stats may be a little inflated. Stuckey meanwhile is playing in a playoff contending team, and had to deal with all on-court troubles of having AI on the team and having Michael Curry as a coach. Now that AI is gone and Curry is fired, I expect Stuckey to have a breakout season, and he will have a better season than Westbrook statistically.
  8. is still getting used to this site.

  9. Source: http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60732/20090722/report_odom_agrees_to_terms_with_lakers/ Thank goodness he stayed in the West. Looks like the Lakers are still the heavy favorites next season.

thats tight. Im bout to be a senior. How come u don't rock any Hawks gear? haha. I swear I'm the only one in KM that wears a Hawks jersey or anything that has to do with the Hawks.

  11. I was hoping we would bring him in but sadly that didn't happen. While I don't think that we made a good decision by trading him for a second round pick, I am happy to see that we finally dealt with him. Not to be mean or anything, but I hope he turns out to be a bust in Houston.
  12. Thanks for the welcome.

  13. Thanks man. I try to be. Thanks. Thanks Sun Tzu. I'll be using this until Brandon fixes whatever he needs to.
  14. Glen Davis is better than Maxiell but telling Detroit to throw in a first round pick in with Maxiell is horrible. Detroit would be trading their first round pick basically for two players that aren't needed for their team. I think if Boston offered the same deal and changed the first round pick to cash considerations and maybe a 2nd round pick, I say it's an even deal.
  15. We already have Zaza Pachulia backing up Horford. If Ben Wallace is a Hawk next season, he'll be playing most of his minutes playing behind Josh Smith.
  16. From what I've read in rumors, Marvin isn't heavily wanted around the league which actually surprises me. He'll most likely be back in a Hawks uniform next year as long as no one offers him more than 8 million per year. I don't think we'll be hearing his name until late August. He'll be in the same position Josh Smith and Josh Childress were last offseason. The Hawks will probably play it slow with Marvin. That seems to be a trend for every restricted free agent for the hawks.
  17. Rookies. 32,227 since August 26, 2006. Used to be a Youtube addict but I don't even get on much anymore.
  18. Nice to hear. It doesn't bother me that much though so don't feel too pressured to do it. Who are you?.....just kidding. I just got to be where the good posters are.
  19. I'm going with the other Ohio State project, Mike Conley. As the season progressed for him and the Grizzlies, he added more range to his shot. The knock on him before he was drafted was his jumpshot. Now, he actually shoots the 3 ball in a high %. With another season under his belt, I expect him to keep on improving his stats on points, assists, and steals.
  20. I mean a button that lists the new posts. I tried clicking the 'View New Content' but I don't think that's it because my topic didn't even show up. Thanks for the welcome. I always wanted to join this forum, just never got the chance to. I actually like offseason discussions. Talking about the lastest rumors or what teams should do always tickles my belly. Thanks man. I'll do the best I can.
  21. It still bothers me how Flip Murray isn't getting any love from the media? He was easily the most consistent player on the Hawks last year and he was a big reason why the Hawks improved so much. He was one of the best 6th man last year. He was also one of the best players the Hawks had in the playoffs. If the Hawks didn't acquire Crawford this offseason, I would have liked Flip to be a top priority in the Hawks' FA list.
  22. Hey guys. Just joined OTR. From what I've seen so far, it looks good. Although, is it me or is there no "NEW POST" button? Anyway, I'm a Hawks fan. A bigtime one. The NBA and basketball is the only sport I'm interested in. I watch a few college games but the NBA intrigues me more for some reason. I try to catch every game that is televised on TV. I'm actually finally thinking about buying NBA League Pass next season. Only reason I wouldn't is because I live in the Atlanta area, so almost every Hawks game is already televised. Anyway, I'll try to stay active as possible. I am never the member in the messageboard that has the ultra activity, but I do bring a lot of quality on my posts(or so I have been told in the past). Alright, my intro is done. So how are you today?
  23. It's a good signing. It takes off pressure from re-signing Etan Thomas. He just adds more depth at the 4 and the 5 position.
