  1. Pierce has been the best this year, but that doesn't translate into the competition. Pierce's release is too slow for this contest, i think he'll have a hard time finishing all the racks w/out messing up his form. Meanwhile, House has one of, if not the fastest releases in the game not to mention dead eye accuracy. He's more suited than Pierce for this competition, which is why i wanted him in instead. I'll root for P regardless though lol.
  2. i dont think they have wild parties like that in real life lol. Asylum easily.
  3. a lobby of 15+ in Mike Myers would be epic.
  4. LOL at Pierce being in this. I'd prefer House to be in it tbh as he is a much better 3 point shooter. Oh well i'll be rooting for P regardless.

  6. I am a pats fan also and also watched every game. He wasn't awful. Basing your opinion of his season based off one game doesn't make it valid. If that last game you're talking about is the Ravens game, then that can be put on our defense more so than brady. Yes, those picks didn't help, but it didn't help that they had 234 yards rushing. We couldn't stop the run. They could have told us where they were going and we wouldn't stop em. As pats fans, we were spoiled with that AMAZING offense 2 years ago. The guys above are right, 4k yards, 28 TD's, near 100 QB rating coming off a torn ACL/year off is damn impressive. You don't look down upon it.
  7. Idk if i'd let Bodden walk. He was pretty much our best Corner last year. He's a solid corner who we would get back on the cheap, so i'd like to see him back. I'd also like the Pats to draft a RB, i dont like Maroney AT ALL. I pretty much agree with everything else you've pointed out except the we're screwed w/out Wilfork thing. Yes, he's important, but we've been able to produce some good players whether it be via FA or Draft to fill the void. While he is important, it still depends on how much he wants.
  8. Yes if this defense can improve to a level it used to be at. We have a nice core to build around defensively, Merriweather, Mayo is nice. That D-Line is decent, our corners need work though. Manning isn't bothersome to me tbh, we have held 20 pt leads in the 2nd half twice, and lost em, twice smfh. That's on the defense. So, if the defense improves, yes, maybe even multiple championships. If the defense is in a limbo as it is now, then sadly we won't see one again in the brady era.
  9. Huge blow, sure, if you wanna call it that. But this team's defense is overrated now, we aren't anywhere near super bowl level defensively. Our offense isn't what it was from 07, hell, our defense was actually still at a super bowl level(Under 100 RYA and under 200 PYA). Our defense was just over shadowed by that unbelievable offense(in 07) Anyways, Samuel is just pissed we didn't wanna give him big time cash, this team was built off of a team concept with winning first, and money later. That's why Brady took a pay cut, Moss took a pay cut etc. Shoot, Bruschi in his prime would've easily made HUGE cash elsewhere, but was unselfish enough to negotiate a contract that helped fit both the team and helped support his family financially. You don't need 8 mill a year to support a family, 3 mill is substantial. Guess that's what it's come to now. if Wilfork is looking for a monster pay day, then he'll likely either get Tagged then traded(ala cassell) or get released. Likely tagged then traded. If he's just looking for a long term contract, if the price is reasonable, NE will no doubt sign him. I'd hate to see him leave though.
  10. Yeah, it's a pretty unusual comparison. Since the position they have in common is PF, i'll compare those. In any case, i'll take the traditional player position wise in Horford as Shard is a wing in pretty much every aspect of his game while Horford is a Big man.
  11. never heard of it, Either way imma just stick w/ MW2 for FSP games.
  12. Didn't realize Obama was that tall, he's almost the same height as Kobe O_O
  13. Never really listened to anyone elses team's commentary. Tommy is a Homer, so i guess only Celtic fans would enjoy listening to him lol, call him what you will, he does know the game of basketball. As for Gorman, i think he's a very good play by play guy, one of the best IMO.
  14. Thats what i was saying, He could still be effective splitting carries with someone and being the Goal Line back. Just cause you lose your speed doesn't mean you lose your power. That combo of speed+Power was what Made LT the best a few years back, and it's what's making CJ/AP the best right now. LT lost that speed, but not his power. I can see him in a Marion Barber-esq role. Power back/Goal line back getting 12-14 carries a game and get the call for goal line duties.
  15. Don't know ho i feel about this. On one hand,we get a young stud for an Aging Allen, on the other hand, i don't know if he fits this system. Ray's role on this team is to pop off screens and shoot the J while Monta is more about creating his own shot. Trading a core player at a time like this could stir up some chemistry problems. Mainly from KG/Pierce, who don't want Allen to go in any way shape or form. It also raises the question of whether or not Rondo/Ellis can co-exist. They both need the ball in their hands to produce, so iunno. Basically, if Boston does it, they are basically saying they think they can't win it all this year and are looking at the future already, because trading a core player like Allen for Ellis in spite of KG/Pierce would/could be troublsome. As a fan, as i stated earlier, i'm 50/50 on this. Taking advantage of grabbing a stud to put alongside Rondo with Ray's contract would be huge. On the other hand, i think that window for a title is still very open for this year granted we're 100% healthy come playoff time, and i'd much rather see a ring than bolster for the future with the mind set that we aren't going to win, when that isn't the case(the potential to win it all, not the guarantee). We've gone through plenty of years of seeing this team be mediocre, so a few years of rebuilding won't hurt as much if we won another championship. Whatever happens, im all for it i guess.
  16. Amare's presence down low is MUCH more of an impact than Jamison's shooting touch would be for Cleveland. At any rate, you dont need much shooting help with Gibson stepping up and Delonte, Mo and Parker already there. Giving LBJ a legit post presence(Shaq isn't this anymore) is HUGE. Looking at it, you guys wouldn't give much, if anything to either teams so i dont see how you could pass on Amare in favor of Jamison as a Cavs fan.
