  1. I also hope he stays, rarely do you see loyalty in the NBA from players to their teams... I know they can get cut in the drop of the hat and all that, but I wish the NBA was like it was in the 80s and 90s... Guys played on 1 team for their whole careers, think that stuff is awesome. How about Ryan Anderson being the Magic's best player anyways, dude came out of no where this year and is playing out of his mind. Must have done some serious work during the off season/lock out.
  2. Gotta give Mo his props, wasnt really sure how he was going to deal with coming off the bench. Honestly assumed he was going to be a baby, and either play his way out of LA or demand a trade, like most nba players would have, but instead he has done the complete opposite. Hope he gets the award, the guy is a great teammate and plays hard when he is on the floor. Jacked up a lot of unneeded shots while he was here in Cleveland but he was really the only other guy that could score when LBJ was here.
  3. Full time student at THE University of Akron Part time sales associate(fancy word for cashier) at JC Penneys
  4. Brett Favre. What a dream scenario for him, arguably best wr/rb/o-line/defense in the league... Just saying Houston with a capable QB is a super bowl contender, without one are out of the playoffs in the first round! Favre and the Texans benefit from one another. 6 games left, perfect for Favre so he wouldnt have to take the physcial beat down of a full 16+game schedule. If Shaub is out for the entire year, the Texans should really give it some thought.
  5. I believe Nolan Smith can be a serviceable NBA player, I dont think he will ever be a great player but I can see him being like an Eric Snow type player. Good for about 10-13 points a night and a true ball handler. Idk maybe it is just me. Thats over his career, not really sure how he will do coming in as a rookie. Hoping he makes the transition well though, loved watching the guy play in college.
  6. This happend 30mins from my hometown, crazy shit. It is terrible that so many animals had to be killed, but it was also a serious issue for the town. It wasnt prepared for an event like that, nor am I sure really any small town is. All of the area highschools located near the town didnt have class yesterday, it was a pretty serious threat! All of the animals have been captured and unfortunatly killed, besides the monkey with the herpes virus.
  7. Does anyone know of a legit site to watch the games for free online?
  8. Hope this is going to be a great cd, having doubts though. Cannot wait to hear the song with the hands down hook king, (since nate dogg has passed away, RIP,) John Legend! He kills every hook/every song the guy is on is straight fire!
  9. Havent seen a contract more deserving in a long time. Great job by the Cardinals organization that has been known for not spending money and or caring about having a winning product on the field.
  10. Honestly thought this was such a let down as a ppv... There were 2 matches worth my time, Cena/Punk and Orton/Christian. The best part of the entire ppv was bringing Edge into it. Didnt hate the end of the Punk/Cena match, because it was a complete curve ball and couldnt have seen that coming at all. I just wish they would take the Divas out of ppvs, or atleast make their matches 30 seconds long, they are unreal crazy boring. Smoking broads, but could care less to see them in the ring doing anything but holding a round card!
  11. I'm also a Cavs supporter and from Ohio, and go to school in Akron... It happend, move on. Yes, the way he left was terrible and yes he did set the franchise back 50 years... buuuut dwelling over the same issue doesnt help either. It's funny how people forget all the things the guy did for the city of Cleveland and still does for the city of Akron. He isnt coming back, and whinning about it wont turn back time and make him change his mind! Not a huge fan of him anymore either, but people, especially Cavs fans need to move the heck on, naw mean?
  12. Bynum only had 1 foul last game.... Your bigs cant be soft, granted I know the Mavs dont have an offenseive minded center but 1 foul? Come on! If that doesnt say soft I dont know what does. You dont want your big man to be in foul trouble, but you want him to set the tone for your defense by not letting players driv. You want them to make the opposing teams think, if we come into this lane we have to be prepared to get smacked in the mouth! The Lakers need to be more physical with that Dirk fella, he's pretty good.
  13. This has been a depressing year for CDs... A lot of them hyped to be so good, and just have been pure let downs. I blame it all on the music industry, it's all about money instead of being about actual music quality.
  14. Crawford is a tricky player to say which offense would suit him because his offensive game is so nice, but he is a ball hog and often a problem for team chemistry. However he seems like he has matured in Atlanta other than his contract situation I havent heard a peep out of him. I think the 76ers should give a look at bringing him in, it would give them another scorer to go along with Iggy. The pacers also could use that other go to scorer to go along with collison/granger/hibbert
  15. Ray Allen- tell your mom to quit bedazzling jerseys!
  16. Technically it's a steal the ball didnt hit the ground inorder to make it a block, but whatever you want to call it steal or block it was amazing.
  17. Derron Williams, You had a better thing going in Utah... Should have sucked it up!
  18. I fancy getting out of the shower and throwing on a rob and letting my johnson swing free, I mean who doesnt though?
  19. does anyone else want to gauge their eyes out when she commentates a game... Especially a good game like Uconn/Pitt!!! I hate listening to her do games, it drives me nuts. Tell me I'm not alone here
  20. I just saw Hall Pass and thought it was really really funny. I reccomend seeing it I'd probably go see it again, it was that good!
  21. anytime you put Magic and Bird on the floor together... Those championship series are unreal, I always watch them when they're shown on ESPN Classic. Basketball was pure basketball then. Now it's shoe deals, mansions, traveling, soft defense, guys sit out for broken thumb nails. It is nowhere near the same. I wasnt even alive back then, but from all the footage and games I've seen it isnt comparable. Go to the rim back then you better be ready for contact, hard contact. Today people let you get to the rim just so they dont get dunked on.
