It really depends on the player actually. Some players want the extra money while others would rather be on a contending team. But as I said, I also think he made the right choice. The difference in the money was pretty substantial and now he'll finally get an opportunity to become the #1 guy.

I have no idea how you can say this trade will make no difference lol. Harden was awful and the Thunder still beat LA. With him gone, LA can put Kobe on Westbrook and Nash on either Thabo or Kevin Martin which will make defense way easier. Just because he had one bad semni final doesn't mean he'll have another lol. This trade is amazing for LA.

I don't understand this trade for OKC. I know the Thunder might not have been able to sign Harden but I think they forgot how big of a piece he was to the team. Kevin Martin is a very good shooter but he's no where near the playmaking ability of Harden. Buuuut I'm not complaining as a Lakers fan.
